sp3ctr3
Lets keep this thread updated with the freshest information. It was a hard hit/fall but Addai looked "ok" on the sidelines.
Randall
Joseph Addai (IND) is dealing with a shoulder injury from last week. More will be known about his status for Week 5 later this week. There has been somewhat conflicting information from the team on Addia with some reports that he'll be OK to play but others saying he might not be available. We'll know more soon. CaptainHook
We'll know more today. If he practices, that's a good sign. If he misses practice the next three days, it's not. Same for Sanders and Harrison.
MERLINS
I have a feeling that the Colts will be wise knowing that they have a viable replacement in Keith. Early in the season everyone slammed this Kenton Keith and now everyone sees that he will fill in nicely. In fact, I said it before, I could run in that offense. Addai is just an average back with an above average offense around him. Keith will put up the same stats as Addai would. The Colts have a bye week 6 I believe, so it would be a wise move to rest Addai until then.

STL Fan
Last week I had a guy to drop and decided to go ahead and get Keith as a handcuff since it seems clear he would be the guy and he's looked pretty good. Now all I need is to know for sure which one is going to play, and hope they don't do that Shanahan three-minutes-before-kickoff crap. tonorator
i thought dungy said that they held addai out of the game last week at the end as a precaution, but if they needed him he could have sent him back in. this lead me to believe he was fine. do we have any new medical data? heehawks
As an Addai owner, I picked up Keith immediately after the game as a handcuff. I suggest all Addai owners to the same... Its obvious he will carry the load if Addai is out (as the last game showed), and would make an excellent fill in if Addai does not play. Lastly, in the huddle priority news re:Harrison, Addai, Sanders, "I don’t think any of those guys are going to practice today," Dungy said. "We hope to have them ready by the end of the week. But my thought to the team, what I told them is we have to assume none of them are going to play." Ummm pick up Keith...I may even go and get Clark or Gonzales as well. i_am_the_swammi
From CBS Sportsline...quote from Dungy today after practice....doesn't sound so bleak as some are making it: CBSSports.com Fantasy Football Notification------------------------------------------------------------ When the Colts went back to work Wednesday, coach Tony Dungy was making contingency plans for the possible absence of running back Joseph Addai, who was hurt in last Sunday's victory over Denver. Addai, last year's top rookie rusher, bruised his right shoulder in the fourth quarter when he wastackled near midfield. After the game, Dungy believed that Addai could have re-entered the game, but the Colts had the win in hand and backup Kenton Keith was running well in Addai's stead. "No one's out, and if they can practice by Friday, it would be a plus, definitely," Dungy said Wednesday of his hurt players, which includes Marvin Harrison and Bob Sanders. "You can sit and wait and hope that they'll come back, but I've never been one to do that. You have to move on."
Winoman
If you were the Colts playing Cleveland - would you risk Addai? If I were the Colts I would sit him and make sure he is well for the rest of the season. (BTW - I'm playing against a guy with Addai in a very important game in my #1 league so I really hope he doesn't play...he also has Henry!) Clubfoothead
Keith ran really hard last week. I don't know anything about his situation on the tema or anything but based on what I saw, if I were Dungy I wouldn't rush Addai back.
