Chief
Say what you will but the Lions are 5-2. I believe they'll make the playoffs, and possibly a 1st rd win depending on matchup, but thats as far as I see them going. We'll take it as fans though, and hope for even more improvement via draft, free agency, and make a even more serious run next year. If the defense can play all year like yesterday anyhtings up for grabs.

Hugh-mongus
That's just dandy for all you Lions fans. I couldn't be happier with the Williams/Kitna duo I drafted this year! ZERO TD PASSES for Kitna over his last three starts is just beyond comprehension.
Hugh-mongus
BTW...when you say "5 more Kitna", are you talking wins or TD passes? At this point, the former seems much more likely.
Furd
Given all of the quality teams that the Lions have beaten, with those great offenses, I'm surprised that you wouldn't think that they're going all the way.
SuperCharger
The Lions' schedule is about to take a turn for the worse. I wish your team the best of luck.
Randall
These next 5 are going to be tough. It's certainly possible but NFL N said they played teams with a combined 10-20 record. Of those Philly and the Bears are better teams(I think) than their records.

Of course I do. I already have my room booked in Arizona for the first week in February. Don't you?

I sure hope you are right. But with the teams we are gonna be facing the rest of the way I see Kitna being forced to pass alot more being behind. it will make Kitna look wonderful but I would rather have the close games and lesser stats from Kitna and some more victories for my Lions. The Irish Doggy
You gotta like the Lions now that they have a run game with KJ. Kitna is in a little funk here, but I have no doubt he comes out of it very soon.

FredGSanford
Enjoy it while it lasts because the fun is about to begin with the schedule getting much tougher. The Lions will be lucky to finish 8-8. Oh yeah, and about making the playoffs

The Lions will be lucky to finish 8-8. Oh yeah, and about making the playoffs Rest of the schedule, and yes it's tougher.. vs Denver Winnable at Arizona Winnable vs Giants shootout, at home I'll go with the Win vs GB(thanksgiving) tough game, Winnable at Minn winnable esp how Minns playing right now vs Dallas maybe a shootout Loss at SD loss vs KC I don't think KC's scaring anyone, at home, Win at GB freezing weather & field + Favre Loss I see 6 games they can/should win, 4 on the downside, so I'll go inbetween and go with 5 more wins. The defense couldn't get worse, only better, and if yesterdays any indication, I'll stick with the 5 easily, with outside of pssible 6 wins. Kevin Jones is definitely going to help us win games now that he's back.

Cunning Runt
They will finish the season 9-7.... That's perfect right there. When Kitna made his "we'll win 10" prediction prior to the seaon, I made a bet with a Lions fan/buddy of mine that they wouldn't. I gave him 2-1 odds so if they do win 10 games, I owe him $200. If they don't, he owes me $100. So 9-7 works just fine.

The Irish Doggy
I honestly think they can do it.
Chief
Eli is not Peyton, at home I think they can beat them. Eli is much easier to rattle than his brother. Had this been an away game then I would be more prone to saying a loss.

Chief
The # times Kitna is sacked in that game would be about 7...and I would take the over... Martz isn't known for getting sacked? Turnover's make the difference and last I seen Lions are tied for the league lead. Both qb's are in for a rough day.
