best thing to happen to the Giants was last weeks game against the Patriots.

they played at a higher level than they had all year, its still fresh in their minds and bodys

and its what it takes to win in the PO's...

this is why you play to win EVERY week, by as many points as you can...

it's training, mentally and physically, for this time of year.

This game sucks....actually, it's not that bad...just my dilslike for Eli coming to the surface. I'd love to say that the Pats game invigorated him for this week, but I still think he's playing above what he's typically capable of.

Not that the NYG did all that much today by way of trying to establish any sort of "vertical" passing game either, but TBB really played things close to the vest, with all those 3-6-12 yard patterns ... no real attempts to open things up even after falling behind. I guess what they feel they can execute is dictated by the personnel available & what the opposing D is giving up / taking away, but I'd have thought they'd at least try to go up the field more as the game progressed & the dink & dunk stuff continued to get them nowhere.

Before last week Eli talked to Peyton about how to read the defense.

He looks calm and more in control. He usually looks nervous late in the year.

I agree with porky...let's turn this into a Patsies are awesome thread.

If there was any question whether NE is the best team evah...look at how they improved the Giants simply by playing them. I think we also need to give the Patsies all their credit for helping Miami get their one win, since the Fins had to raise their level of play in Week 15 in preparation to play NE the following week.

true. but there were a few passes, short, that he had that scared deer look

and threw at the feet of a wide open receiver.

when he settles down and slows the game down, he is pretty effective

if he learns this, i think the 'field general' stuff will come naturally.

you want to feel that your QB is going to win it for you, not hope

he doesnt lose it for you, which is the feeling i get watching him....
