Bronco Billy
I think Briggs is going to pan out to be a very average LB outside of CHI. His position in that D is tailor made to post greatly exaggerated numbers. It's happened before with LBs playing that spot in that D when they move on to other teams. As for the other FAs, I can't see CLE letting Anderson move on, and likewise with Moss & NE. Turner is the obvious impact FA on the list, but I really, really like Bryant Johnson's chance to break out when he gets his chance to get out from under the Fitz/Boldin shadow, much like Curtis turned into a very good #2 FF WR with low #1 upside in future years when he escaped the Holt/Bruce situation. Chargerz
Billy Volek's a free agent.
Pope Flick
Bring Turner the Burner to Chi-Town. And BB is most likely correct on the Briggs thing. Teams gameplan to remove Urlacher which leaves his partners in crime more room to roam. Anyone remember Warrick Holdman? Thought so. And now that Colvin is back to 100% he's not nearly the beast he was in Chicago either.

Sturphy
Didnt the 'boys sign crayton? I remember reading a post about it here Yeah, that website is a little dated. I saw it a few months ago I think. Maybe a month.
SMF
Yeah, that website is a little dated. I saw it a few months ago I think. Maybe a month. It was after week 16 because they said Moss had 21 TDs with one more game to go.
CaptainHook
Unless I've missed something lately, Dallas Clark is an UFA as well.

Swampnuts
I think Bryant Johnson would be a great fit alongside Steve Smith in Carolina, and I'd love to see Alan Faneca alongside Walter Jones in Seattle.
Bronco Billy
I think Bryant Johnson would be a great fit alongside Steve Smith in Carolina He finally gets to get out from under Fitz/Boldin & you think he wants to go to CAR & sit behind Smith/Jarrett? Swampnuts
He finally gets to get out from under Fitz/Boldin & you think he wants to go to CAR & sit behind Smith/Jarrett? He'd start ahead of Jarret with his shoes tied together. Jarrett hasn't shown anything and isn't entitled to it either with this coaching staff. Colbert will be long gone and so will Carter if they can land a veteran.

So every WR who doesn't light the league up as a rookie will suck forever? Have you checked out Steve Smith's rookie year receiving numbers? Swampnuts
Wow. So every WR who doesn't light the league up as a rookie will suck forever? Have you checked out Steve Smith's rookie year receiving numbers? It has nothing to do with physical abilities. The word here locally is that he didn't have the "mental" capabilities to master the playbook. That's why he was inactive for so many games. Physically he's exactly what they wanted, he's big and makes a nice target. He just could not show any grasp of the offense over the course of the year. I'm just passing on what's been reported here locally.

His numbers would definitley suffer from when he was playing in CHI's scheme.
