Bronco Billy
Rumors here in DEN are that they are very interested in acquiring the services of one Adam "PacGirl" Jones. When is this fiasco of a HC going to get the boot? He's still living on bank earned from winning 2 SBs, where he made a couple of great FA moves and drafted a HoF caliber RB in the 6th round to go with the HoF QB & HoF TE already installed for him when he took over the team. Since that last SB win almost a decade ago, he has one exactly one - count 'em - one playoff game and has missed the playoffs more than he's gotten his team into them. He keeps trying to stock his D with other team's rejects, and every once in a while he hits paydirt with a guy like John Lynch. Much more often he brings on guys who end up being hugh busts, like the entire freakin' CLE D-line that couldn't stop a 5 year old from gaining 100 yds, or cast off cancerous DBs from KC, or DTs who sucker punch normal people in the wee hours in the morning at IHOP. Now he wants to add PacGirl? Can this genius of a HC not figure out the very simple premise that your DBs don't have to be stellar if your D-line can give even a modicum of pass rush, but that even the best DBs fail constantly if you can't put any meaningful pressure on the QB? Not to mention that he's got exactly 2 guys on his entire starting D that even have the will & ability to tackle, and they both reside in the secondary. Other teams make mince meat of DEN's front 7 on a weekly basis. Will someone please stop the madness?
MikesVikes
Not sure why they need a train wreck. Stop the madness? That's a good one because we need to stop that Denny's pop-up at the Huddle.

broncosn05
Now I have my problems with Shanny but I would like to see PacMan in Denver, since I know the A won't be acquiring him. He's a solid player when he's out on the field.

He's a solid player when he's out on the field. Yeah, that makes sense. Then Denver will trade for Vick's rights to make "The Gridiron Gang." Pac-Man is a great player no doubt. But someone trying to justify wanting him on their team isn't going to get many people to agree with them, especially with recent events. The guy just can't stay out of trouble. Why would you want that on your team? Bears fans like me tried to justify keeping Tank but he was eventually castoff. His play woulda been nice but still. piratesownninjas
Maybe they think that Champ Baily can mentor him and keep him out of trouble... What a payoff it would be if they could...

They could turn the locker room into a strip club.

At least my trips to the strip clubs will be little more fun... wonder if I can snag some of the $$ Pac throws around??

kingfish247
Maybe they think that Champ Baily can mentor him and keep him out of trouble... What a payoff it would be if they could... Agreed. I don't like Pac and I don't like the issues he brings to a team. You can argue that it's a poor reflection of team management to even consider it BUT... he really is very talented. Denver has struggled mightily in the return game and he would provide an instant boost at least in that area. As long as Denver protects itself in a deal AND doesn't have to give up anything for him... it would be a huge payoff if it worked out. Also, as much of an idiot as Pacman has been, I hope he does turn his life around... whether that be a return to the NFL to realize his potential or otherwise.
