i_am_the_swammi
Whatcha got? Two teams that don't like each other a ton, who both showed up Week 1 with impressive wins, each looking to take early control of the NFC East. Cowboys an early 7 point favorite at home. Bring it on! whomper
Always a great physical game. Makes for some great drama early in the season after both teams looked great yesterday. Should be a very entertaining game
T_bone65
Too early in the season for this to be a HUGH matchup. Philly always plays the Boys tough but Dallas does have HFA in their favor anyway.

i_am_the_swammi
The Linc's dungeon should be full by halftime... Even though the game is in Dallas? BTW, the Eagles won there last year in Week 15 10-6, in a game the Cowboys desperately needed to win to ensure home field advantage.

TDFFFreak
I honestly have no idea how this one will turn out. Both teams looked scary good on Sunday, but the Cowboys did it on the road and against a supposedly better team. I thin Dallas -7 seems slightly high of a line, but I still would stay away from this game. Can't wait.
MustOfBeenDrunk
i like how "i_am_the_swammi' starts the thread but has no opinion either way ? eagles win in a close 3pt or less game Edited September 9, 2008 by MustOfBeenDrunk
Perchoutofwater
As a Cowboy fan, I'd feel a lot better about it if Marion Barber was 100% healthy. Dallas is going to need him to pick up blitzes.

i_am_the_swammi
i like how "i_am_the_swammi' starts the thread but has no opinion either way ? Not yet, just wanted to get the lines of communication up and running. I see many different wagers resulting from this thread, and since these two don't play again until Week 17, I imagine some of the losers will have to wait quite some time for a shot at evening things up. As much as I despise Dallas and all their front-running, loud-mouth, in-the-past living fans, I respect the heck out of their football team. 7 days and counting..... Pkillebr
I'm really looking forward to this game. Actually, I think that the MNF games this year are all really good. I just took another glance at the schedule and I don't see any lopsided match-ups. Last year there were a fair amount of games that were not exactly fair match-ups and even those were good. Any team playing Monday night is different than that same team on a Sunday afternoon. And this week should be awesome. I predicted that the MIN vs GNB game would be relatively low scoring and that Denver would handle Oakland pretty easily (though no where near what actually happened). I think that this week is going to be a shootout with 70+ total points. I say the game goes 38-35 Dallas. I think taking the over on 48 (according to ESPN as of the time of this post) is a great bet. This game is all about the QBs. Despite most people's opinion, I think McNabb ends as a top three QB and I don't have Romo in the other two (Brees & Cutler) but I give the win to Dallas based on better receivers and homefield. eagles2010
Eagles 27 Cowboys 24 Brian Dawkins will be helped off the field after crushing Felix Jones inside the twenty forcing a key fumble. Westy will total 130 yards and 2 TD's and there will be a whole lot more talk about the team to beat in the NFC East. !!!! E-A-G-L-E-S !!!! Kansas State 2000
The Eagles need to get pressure on Romo something the Browns seldom did. The Cowboys must control Westbrock and keep him around 100 combined yards. The one that does that wins as long as they also do not turn the ball over. I think this game is decided in the 4th quarter after Dallas' o-line & running game has worn down the Eagles defense. Close tough typical NFC East division game ... Dallas 24 Eagles
