TC_Ute
Smith is looking good. Smith is indeed running strong (knock on wood). Would like to see him have some success this year.

Jackass
Favre's stat line: 7/8 for 45 yards. Maybe the vikings need to let Favre pass the ball more than 3 yards downfield? Anyone watching the game that can comment on this?
Outshined
Peterson has 4 receptions already...and he hasn't dropped one yet.

mitpdub
Did anyone cringe when they saw Peterson put his head down and get hit on the back on the helmet? Those are the kind of plays that guys get stingers or worse from.

Except on that one his head wasn't up and the defender hit him on the back of the helmet taking it off.

Furd
What was the point of that last field goal by Det? They were down 17 at the time, so they needed 3 scores.
Outshined
What was the point of that last field goal by Det? Desperation...went from a 3 score game to a 2 score game, but they didn't get the onside kick.
CaP'N GRuNGe
A win's a win but meh, you've got to be able to throw it down field to win against the better teams Chilli.
Rebellab
A win's a win but meh, you've got to be able to throw it down field to win against the better teams Chilli. They have had a pretty short leash on Farve, not a lot of big throws down field. I also think Farve is playing well. Instead of interceptions he is pulling it down. I wish he would throw it out of bounds or take a knee instead of the sack. Which brings me to the next comment. He was pressured pretty hard a few times today, this concerns me. The right side of our o-line is weak, especially our new right tackle. I also did not like the way the Lions ran on us. A better team could have taken advantage of this more than the Lions did. The Lions played better than I expected for sure. Our rookie receiver has a td in each game which I really like. Now he will start taking some pressure off of Berrian and I think we will start to see some airshows when needed.

The right side of our o-line is weak, especially our new right tackle. I was thinking the same thing...hes been sacked and hit more than I like to see. He hasn't had a lot of time back there. He did throw it deep once to Rice, but I thought Rice didn't try hard enough to go after the ball. Its nice to see Favre throw accurate bullets on third and long.
