WaterMan
Dec 19 Vick had a monster game in Sunday's 38-31 win over the Giants, throwing for 242 yards with three touchdowns and running for 130 yards with a score on the ground. Recommendation: Vick was awesome in the second half, throwing for over 200 yards, making a bunch of long runs, and accounting for four touchdowns to help Philadelphia overcome a 21-point deficit. Vick had somewhat struggled against strong defenses, feasting on weaker opponents, but that was not the case Sunday - he was spectacular. caddyman
A potential MVP deserves to be talked about. You are absolutely correct... New England Patriots QB Tom Brady hit 15 of 24 passes for 163 yards and two touchdowns during a Week 15 win over the Green Bay Packers, reports The Associated Press. Brady has gone nine consecutive games - 292 passing attempts - without throwing an interception, and he broke Don Meredith's record with seven straight games with at least two touchdowns and no interceptions. Has anyone brought it to the attention of Rotoworld that what they posted is not actually a recommendation? Here's another; it was cold and snowy yesterday in Pittsburgh and the Jets broke out of their slump. They've been playing like crap lately, but didn't yesterday. You guys are welcome, btw. If you need any more "recommendations", let me know. Edited December 20, 2010 by detlef
lennykravitz2004
Wow. Isn't this the holidays? Where we're supposed to show peace, love, and harmony with our fellow man? Or do the FF playoff losses blow that completely out of the water?

BearBroncos
I remember someone mentioning last week, in another thread that this would be Vick's second best game of the year. That guy sure knows his stuff and nailed that prediction

Or do the FF playoff losses blow that completely out of the water? Yeah, this is truly in keeping with his past behavior..... He’s a mega-POS. I will be a perennial hater, even to my detriment. I will at least consider owning Moss or T.O. I believe he ranks around 16 or so, on the Most Evil scale. I am VERY forgiving in general, but not for this guy. He should have recieved a minimum mandatory of at least 10 years. I would not be even a little suprized when he is sentenced to LWOP. Only time will tell. I don't believe a bit of his "contrition" since he's been in Philly. People that do what he's done DO NOT change. Ok, I'm done. Sorry. Please move along; nothing to see here. It's terrible what he and his cohorts did. I just think, having hit rock bottom, that he MAY have actually been reformed. Those links suck, BTW. And, no, I'm not digging. rajncajn
Yeah, I'm not buying the reformed bit either. You just don't go from that type of abuse/behavior to animal lover with a short stint in prison. My guess is he was probably treated like a hero there and now he's being treated like a hero out. "What a great comeback story, how wonderful it is that he's turned his life around and become such an upstanding citizen." Yeah... whatever. I'll gladly pass him up in my fantasy drafts next year and not feel sorry for him one bit if it all comes crashing down on him.

lkirc
Why is there so much hatred for Vick, who was tried, convicted and did his time? Not a word about Donte Stallworth or many of the other NFL players who committed crimes against actual people. If we are going to draft people based on their morality, you will end up with a pretty small pool to chose from. I don't condone what he did, but he is a football player, not your kid's Sunday School teacher.

cre8tiff
There was an article just today in the STL Post-Dispatch about Leonard Little. His drunk driving KILLED a woman. But it was hardly mentioned after that year and he played 12 years. Yeah, Vick did wrong. He paid his price. Let it go.

Because you saw the pattern of abuse starting with frying ants with a magnifying glass, then moving on to microwaving frogs, then lighting cats on fire, and finally escalating to torturing dogs for the thrill, right? He didn't torture/kill them for no reason. Sure, his reasoning was morally reprehensible to 99% of us, but to him and his ilk it was the order of things. After his incarceration and extreme fall from grace, I think he MAY have been reformed. Why couldn't he, while hitting rock bottom, have come to the realization that his reasoning was seriously flawed and that what he was doing was horribly wrong? Because you're too closed-minded to fathom it?
