stevegrab
according to DMD the Packers contacted favre today I missed that, where was it. (Don't have a subscription this year so if it was in paid content I missed it.) I can find stories on the net that say the same thing, but of course not everything I read on the internet is true. I'm not buying it, just some reporters speculating then a bunch of other people running with that story (they can alway say "I'm just reporting what happened, not my fault it was a dumb rumor or joke.") http://bleacherrepor...-to-brett-favre http://www.sportingn...-rodgers-injury Second link is from the Sporting News, same place employing the reporter who said that GB reached out to Favre (source referenced in the first link). While Favre's agent still say Nope, he is retired http://www.cbssports...avre-is-retired Edited November 6, 2013 by stevegrab

While Favre's agent still say Nope, he is retired http://www.cbssports...avre-is-retired <a Favre Posted 11/5/13 8:38pm et The Green Bay Packers reached out to QB Brett Favre (Vikings) after QB Aaron Rodgers (collarbone) suffered a collarbone injury in the team's Week 9 game, but his agent said Favre will remain retired. Huddle Up: You knew this would happen, and you knew what the answer would be. With the QB passing up this opportunity, this should put an end to the calls to Favre the next time a team finds itself in need of QB help. HowboutthemCowboys
all I typed was "according to DMD..." you're getting them in a wad over nothing really..in multiple threads..
stevegrab
all I typed was "according to DMD..." you're getting them in a wad over nothing really..in multiple threads.. First off I missed the news item on Favre that you and somebody else posted. I'm getting "in a wad" because I'm tired of these circus stories about Brett Favre. Everybody knows he isn't returning, but they want to discuss it anyway. Ask the question, debate what it would be like, blah-blah-blah. All the while Favre's people are standing there shouting "He's retired!" while the talking heads nod and continue their story. I guess I just have to "lighten up and get used to it". Its why I don't listen to sports talk radio or watch much on ESPN (outside if actual live sporting events). On another note I heard a report that Peyton Manning is feeling tired and the Broncos reached out to Tim Tebow. Hey it could happen. Discuss.... Eagles28
Whatever it takes to get one in the win Gollum... His college scouting report says his arm is really strong but he has a bad hobbit of staring down his receivers.
