linkster
Hi HoughOne, Skip my post for ya in the forumn...this is what I was asking: I have a good shot of winning it all this year (for a change) but need some QB advice. We are a Performance League. 8-Team. 1pt for every 50yds pass, 4pt pass TDs. We have team QBs so Bulger was mine but now it’s Jamie. I also have Hasselbeck. On WW is Brees and Leftwich also some others. This is a need for the best combo to get me through playoffs weeks 14-16. I don’t dare drop St. Louis QB in case Bulger does come back?? Here are the matchups (resectively) Brees; Dolphins, Colts, KC Leftwich; Colts, 49ers, Texans Hass; 49ers, titans, Colts Martin; vikes, Eagles, 49ers What should I do? AND THANKS! My final trade deadline is this next week. Edited November 23, 2005 by linkster

Also, would you start McMahon(Packers) or Plummer(Cowboys), 1 point every 10 yards passing and 4 points each td. Thanks Hugh and have a good Thanksgiving. Lost
Hey Hugh, got a quick question to make sure I am doing the right thing. 1 point per 10 rush/rec, 6 per Td. Start 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 RB/WR My options: RB S Alexander (vs NYG)* RB Ronnie Brown (@OAK)* RB W McGahee (vs CAR)* WR Keyshawn J (vs DEN)* WR R Wayne (vs PIT)* WR I Bruce (@HOU) WR Reg Brown (vs GB) WR A Bryant (@MIN) WR D Stallworth (@NYJ) The ones with an * are the ones I am currently starting. I think I am for sure not starting brown and Bryant, but I have wondering about Stalltworth and Bruce to replace anything that I currently have. What do you think? Any help would be appreciated! Hugh 0ne
Hey Hugh, Been away from the board for a bit, need a little help this week. League 1 standard scoring RB: need 2 *Portis v. SD *Droughns @ Minn MMoore v. Clev. Martin v. NO MBarber v. Den Pittman v. Chic Minn has been tough on the run and MMoore is improving but could Tice pull a Tice and go back to Bennett. Barber, despite the 2 TD's, has Jones stealing touches. I think I stick with Portis and Droughns, thoughts? League 2 standard scoring, bonus for over 100 yds WR: need 1 to go with Chad Johnson and Driver Glenn v. Den Curtis @ Hou TJ Housh v. Balt. Was thinking Curtis due to the matchups but I also have Stephen Jackson going. Glenn has been up and down but it would be nice to have a guy on Turkey Day. Edit: Would you start the Vikings D v. Clev. over Indy @ Pitt Thanks! Happy Turkey Day! 1169766 I think you're way off at RB. The Vikes rush defense has been stellar the last two weeks, and haven't allowed a 100 yard rusher in 6 weeks. I'd bench Droughns. Portis has been average at best this year, and faces a tough rush defense. I'd bench him too. Tice is a Megan Fox, and a moran, but the Vikes are winning, and they're winning with Moore. Even Tice is too stupid to mess with that now. Then I'd start Martin against a weak NO rush defense. Granted, they'll have 8 in the box, but I still think CuMar is a better option than Portis or Droughns. Then I'd take Housh. Glenn is super inconsistent, and Curtis is not a good option when Holt and Bruce are back, especially with a backup QB. Probably Indy. I think their defense is overrated and the stats inflated because of a weak schedule, but at home against a hobbled Roethlisberger in what I think will be a blow out the Colts D should score you some points. Hugh 0ne
I need to pick one of these two guys to start this week: Reuben Droughns @ MIN (Droughns has come on strong, but so has the Vikes D-Line) or Julius Jones v. DEN (Nationally Televised home game, but against a tough Denver team and with Barber hawking carries) [12-team league, standard performance + TD scoring] 1169773 You're a Vikes fan, which obligates you to start Jones, otherwise you'd be routing for Droughns to do well against the Vikes. nhoops
Thanks Hugh..... It'll be a tough one, Portis has basically started for me all year and I just traded for Droughns prior to last week. He's been great the last 2 weeks and Martin was awefull last week.
VikesGuy
Lets see if you and Balla differ any? Two leagues same scoring. 1 - 10 yrds 6 for TD Need to start 2 in both cases RBs - Dom Davis, Juluis Jones, M. Barber, F. Taylor Leaning DD and MB..... RBs - Dom Davis, Chris Brown and M Moore? Leaning DD and Chris Brown.... What do you think?
soulrebel
Hey Hugh! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! Quick question ... Which 3 of the following would you start at the WR/TE pos? - R. Wayne vs PIT - T. Glenn vs DEN - D. Stallworth @ NYJ - M. Muhammad @ TB - T. Gonzalez vs NE I'm leaning toward Wayne, Stallworth & Gonzalez. I don't like Glenn's match-up vs. Denver and I don't see Muhammad doing much vs. Tampa Bay. But Stallworth went off last weekend, which based on history, means he won't do too much this weekend. Which 3 do you like? Thanks in advance, and good luck this weekend!

Savage Beatings
You're a Vikes fan, which obligates you to start Jones, otherwise you'd be routing for Droughns to do well against the Vikes. 1170028 You're wisdom rings true once again. One more WDIS for you then... Jimmy Smith @ ARI (Smith did well last week, but is clearly being phased out) or Bobby Engram v.
