Cards force a game 5.

Hoping the Tigers and Cards both win their series and find a way to rematch the '06 WS. We want our revenge.

So you're hoping Bud Selig kills himself because the ratings after this will be so bad.

That would just be a side benefit.

Man, I was on the edge of my seat watching that thing.

I'll root for the Tigers only because of Leyland. He's been pretty classy over the years regarding talking about the Royals.

Yanks fans, thoughts on A-Rod? Or is now a bad time to ask?

I love how he looks at the pitcher with that fake scowl then whiffs like a bitch when they need him most

So hard to watch the Phils offense go completely in the tank

I'll be completely stunned if the Phils don't win in 4 games or less. St. Louis starting and relief pitching has been brutal all year (even Carpenter for stretches). What got St. Louis here was theor #1 offense in the NL, which I think can be more than offset by the Phils outstanding pitching.

Phils in 3.

I won't lie, when the Cardinals went down 4-0 in Game 2, I came on here and almost posted that I completely agree with what you wrote.

I'm glad I stopped myself.

and if someone told you the Cards would be held to 3.8 runs/game I don't think you or anyone else would have expected they would have won this series.

No way did they choke... awesome series and both teams played great. Carp was aces tonight for 9 innings. Halladay was aces for 8.

Game - set - match.

This series was tough to watch because I seriously hate both these teams, but Carpenter was amazing, as was Halliday.

A great game to watch for sure.

One of these days you'll wise up and stop watching that minor league team of yours over in KC.
