DMD
According to Jay Glazer and the Steelers did get a second opinion. Apparently they are not sure if he needs surgery or not. And yes, he is on almost every one of my teams including this $350 gem from back in July: Eli Manning Carson Palmer Alex Smith Daryl Richardson Le'Veon Bell OUT Montee Ball Isaac Redman Isaiah Pead Joseph Randle Demaryius Thomas Dez Bryant Jeremy Maclin OUT Danario Alexander OUT Josh Gordon SUSPENDED Jared Cook Zach Miller Jeff Cumberland Matt Prater Cincinnati Bengals Dallas Cowboys

PPIchamp
Ouch, DMD. Drafted Bell myself 1.5 weeks ago in my first draft of the year, only have Andre Brown to fill his spot, I'll just be hoping for those GL carries. Crazysight
This is a rumor beat writers are spreading however there is no official diagnosis of lis franc just yet. All glazer states on his account is the the steelers "believe" he has a lis franc injury. You can check his account yourself to see what he actually states. Yesterday the story was opposite. I admit it does not sound good but just to squash the rumor there is no official diagnosis yet. It is believed that the second opinion bell is receiving is from a specialist in charlotte and I read it will likely be a couple days before anything definitive is known.

Tripleshot
Hey Loaf, can you stand up straight again yet after that kick to the junk? I was this close --><-- to grabbing Bell as my 3rd RB in Prime Time. Thankfully the game was on that night and I knew of his injury, if not the severity, and took Lacey instead. irish
There is some belief that even if it's not a lis franc injury, Bell will miss 6-10 weeks and if it is, his season is over.
Henry Muto
8 more teams of mine in the crapper with this news of Bell. $500 FFPC dynasty team has Hernandez, Harvin, Pitta and Maclin...sweet jesus. $750 FFPC dynasty team has Hernandez, Harvin and Gronk Hernandez on 4 total dynasty, 7 total leagues Harvin on 3 dynasty, 5 total leagues I would go on but it never will end I feel like I just wasted 5 months of time drafting and almost all 41 teams are already in the crapper. I hear you Mr. Muto, and I indeed sympathize, but there are those suffering similar woes this preseason without the extra $100k in the bank. Shorttynaz
This is why you don't draft till the week before the season starts. Especially in big $$ leagues..
Axe Elf
Of course, the upside to drafting early is that you can get all your sleepers in the later rounds before anyone else has the chance to see them go for 2 TDs in the first quarter of each preseason game. Used to be you could get guys like Carson Palmer, Daryl Richardson, Ronnie Hillman, Chris Givens, Justin Blackmon, Vincent Brown, Jordan Cameron and Julius Thomas for a song. Now people are catching on.

Axe Elf
I'm more famous for winning. Posting and bragging about early (mid, and late) draft results is just a side effect of that.
