baddfish2
Congrats Zia This season will mark my first superbowl appearance in my local league as well. I survived facing Tiki in round one, Alexander in round two, and will go for the trifecta facing Larry Johnson in the finals. I really hope this is the week that Ladanian kicks it back into overdrive for us. Gonna be fun. Here's the preliminary matchup... Mine: David Garrard Ladanian Tomlinson Thomas Jones Torry Holt Anquan Boldin Josh Brown Jacksonville Defense (I have my concerns about Boldin without Warner, and who knows what QB will be throwing to Holt this week. I have Djax stashed on the bench though for just such a circumstance, so he could prove to be a viable option now that he's back.) Opponent: No QB Yet (Awaiting waivers as he lost Warner and Frerotte this week) Larry Johnson, Ryan Moats or Julius Jones (Start 1 or 2) Hines Ward, Antonio Gates, Plaxico Burress or Chris Chambers (Start 2 or 3) Rob Bironas (Start 1) Green Bay Def or Minnesota Def (Start 1)
CowboysDiehard
It's a good year, I made it to 3 SBs out of 4 leagues! In one, now that Orton's done, I'll be going in W/O a QB, but you never know. I won without one this week. In fact, I've been winning without one since I picked up Orton in that league. Swiss Cheezhead
darn, Keg -- you're having quite year in FF. I made the OUTRAGED championship this year, just 2 years after taking over a God-awful team from sky (still love ya, bud ). Not my first championship game, but it could be my first title. Start 1 QB, 1-3 RBs, 2-4 WRs (5 total RB/WR), 1 K, 1 D My team: Hasselbeck/Carr/Fitzpatrick Jordan/Dillon/Moats/Houston Burress/Driver/A. Johnson/J. Porter J. Brown Cleveland/Green Bay His team: P. Manning/Roethlisberger R. Johnson/Antowain Smith Galloway/S. Smith/C. Johnson/D. Mason Kaeding Miami/New England My lineup decisions will be more difficult than his, but I'm feeling better now that Peyton probably won't play the whole game. Still, those WRs he's started all year can always have huge weeks. Fingers are firmly crossed.

ebartender
Made it to the championship for the second year in a row in my big money keeper league. MY TEAM: QB - Seattle, Washington (start 1) RB - Alexander, L. Jordan, C. Brown, M. Moore, D. Staley (start 2) WR - S. Smith, Boldin, Porter, Glenn, T. Taylor, Gaffney (start 3) K - Rackers D - Dallas, New England (start 1) Traded Drew Bennett, Lee Evans, and my 1st round pick for S. Smith & Boldin last offseason. Traded D. Davis and my 2nd round pick next year for Jordan (he was hot at the time). Traded my 5th round pick for Rackers a few weeks ago. I'm thinking of trading Smith and maybe Glenn this offseason while their value is high. My keepers for next year will be - Alexander, Jordan, Brown, S. Smith, Boldin, Porter/Glenn, and Seatlle QB. Should have another strong year.

Sgt. Ryan
6 IDP Leagues, 4 Super Bowls, made the playoffs in all 6. Sofa IDP losing Deuce and Ray Lewis, and then Antonio Pierce in the first round were too much to overcome. Dynasty wars II, the worst luck Ive ever had in any league, where I was undefeated until I lost Holt for a couple of weeks, then went on to lose Priest, TO, Ray Lewis, and Pennington and many more, a total of 11 guys did not play for me in my 1st round lose. Even without that firepower down the stretch, Still the highest scoring team, just couldnt overcome 100 pts lost in my lineup each week Fusion, SB for the 3rd yr in a row, all 3 yrs of existence, but I have Edge and Wayne, so it doesnt look promising. Dynasty Wars - 2nd SB in 3 yrs, and I should be the favorite with LJ, M Anderson and Portis as my 3 headed monster. IDP Handbook - 1st yr League we drafted in May for the Huddle Handbook, face Keg GMX - 1sr yr Dynasty League, but it doenst look promising here either as my 3 Rbs, LT (?able), Dunn (?able), and Westbrook (IR), Bulger was my #1 Qb, so now Im going with hit or miss Brunell or McSpare. Ive picked the wrong one the last 4 weeks in a row. These 4 will be my 8th BOTH league Super Bowls in the last 3 years. Winning Fusion and Hannibals last yr, losing Fusion and DW the yr before that. Also won Zealots with an undefeated 16-0 record in 03, which had some huddlers, but wasnt a true BOTH league, and lost last yrs version of the Sofa IDP Super Bowl. So in SuperBowls involving the huddle in some form or fashion the last 2 yrs, Im 3-3 in with 4 to go. Id welcome another split this yr, with the matchups I have going. Also won my local league 6 of the last 9 yrs, and in the running again this season, its a total points league. Thank Goodness for Fantasy Football, it has paid for my kids Xmas the last 6 yrs and counting. Edited December 20, 2005 by Sgt. Ryan
