Randall
Hines Ward - WR, Pittsburgh Steelers 09/05/05 Hines Ward has signed a four-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers that is believed to pay him around $17 million in the first three years of the contract. Huddle Up: Good news for Ward owners who don't want Hines to have any distractions this season. The new contract has been long in coming and finally the Steelers have made good on their promise of an extension to the three-time Pro Bowl receiver. Delicious_bass
Good for HW. He is a good player with a lot of heart. That said, I think this season he will be an illustration of a player you want on your NFL team but not necessarily on your Fantasy team. I have had good success with him in the past, but last year when Burress went down and HW was getting more coverage, his TDs really took hit. There is no reason to think that Pitt wont use the same recipe for success this year(pound the run, play tough D) and I think HW's stats will be lower again.
