MrTed46
Who is starting him regardless of the wind/rain? What are your options. I have Brad Johnson and am in a serious debate in my head. What are you owners doing?
BearcatGreg
I lost Warner last week, so I was banking on Brees to help me win a championship. I can pick up Boller, but I think I'll stick with Brees.
BillyBalata
I'm starting in MVP today...racking my brain whether I should put Mcnair in instead Starting him in another league too...Collins is my other choice, not going to switch here. One positive note, minor maybe, I've been watching the radar and it does look like the heavier rain has moved south of the KC area...still looks like rain most of the game, but it does appear that it won't be as heavy. Counting on Brees still being able to hit Gates with some shorter tds.

CaP'N GRuNGe
Had Brees in, now debating changing to McCown or Garrard. I'm at a loss what to do.

Grits and Shins
I really wanted to start Brees today ... but am going to stick with Mr. Palmer.

Puddy
This sucks. I just took Brees out in the Hag Battle Royale and put in Delhomme. I am not at all happy about it
CaP'N GRuNGe
I think i'm going with McCown. Decent weather at least plus Fitz and Boldin. Garrard has put up some decent pts but Houston for some reason strikes me as a low scoring game. I'd liked to have Brees, but rain and wind? :doah:
BadgerBacker
Not happy about the weather, but am going with both Brees and Gates in MVP challenge. Other options were Green (same weather), Martin (fragile, no big games this year), McNair (fragile, banged up offense), Plummer (probably will not have a hugh game), and Delhomme (limited upside). Well, McCown too. But I don't trust him not to lay an egg and get pulled for Navarre. Maybe too much caution on my part. Looking at usage among the top teams, most have already used Brees. So if I go with a QB others might use, I just keep pace. Brees is the best chance to differentiate and have a shot of moving up. Especially as there will be movement out of Brees due to the weather. Definitely a risky play, but I need to take the risk. Hopefully, the steadiest rain will move SE of Arrowhead sometime in the 2Q, allowing the offenses to open up in the second half. A sloppy field would favor the receivers vs. the secondary if the ball is dry. Four hours and we'll all know.
