giantsfan
Thinking about him in late round 3 if I go WR at pick 2. 12 team league with .5 per catch. Where has he been going in most drafts. I think he should be there late round 3 but just would like some opinions. Start 2 RB's, 3 WR's, and 1 TE
peepinmofo
the huddle took him at 2.10 or 2.12 in one of the drafts I saw on here, so hes a later 2nd rounder, early third Id say. Barring injury, he should make a nice #2.
nubins
In my 2 drafts yesterday he went in the 3rd round. He should make a nice 3rd RB with upside to be a 2nd RB but he is still unproven and is on a rebuilding team that needs sometime to gell. Barring injury, he should make a nice #2. I saw the huddle drafts but I don't think that is indicative of most drafts. The people who do the huddle draft fall in love with guys like Gore. Most people who do drafts like Gore Im sure but to make a guy who has a LONG injury sheet, is WAY unproven, and plays for SF a 2nd rounder seems a little bit of a stretch. I wonder where he is going in most regular drafts. I was under the impression I could get him in late round 3. Now I wonder.
Chief Dick
I took him in the 6th round last night in a 12 team league.
KordellStewartSucks4Life
I see him going in the 3rd after C Taylor, W Parker etc. The draft I did last night had him go with the 1st pick in the 4th round of a 12 team redraft. Don't think he'll last that long in the one I have today.
Judge Smales
Went at 3.12 in one of my online leagues. 12 team performance redraft with pt/catch Edited August 27, 2006 by Judge Smales
giantsfan
Okay this gives me some hope. I pick with the 3rd to last pick of round 3. I just have a feeling he'll be there. While he looks good he still plays for a very questionable SF team and is a big injury risk. 3.10 seems reasonable. After the Taylor's, FWP's, and Bush's of the world. JoJoTheWebToedBoy
In my last 3 drafts (standard performance, non-keeper) 4.01, 3.12, 3.
DMD
Gore has been going right around the first of the 4th or late third round though he moves up some lately with Barlow gone. He is a risk but they all are after half the starters are taken.

You have to remember that in the huddle drafts the competition is much better and those guys you can usually wait on will be taken if you try and wait on them like you can in your locals. I can understand the huddle grabbing him here. but I am gonna wait in my local a tad longer.
hollywood_69
hey dmd or ww, whats the reasoning behind drafting gore so early, before manning? i'm a gambling man so i kinda understand, high risk high reward, but with manning still there? Avernus
8.05 in my local yesterday... I took him for the other team I was drafting for
Grits and Shins
6.04 in my local last night ... but this draft was dominated by the WR ... Chester Taylor fell to 5.

The situation for him has only gotten better and I now expect 1350 and 9 TDs...
rattsass
It will depend on how savvy your league is. I drafted him at 3:09 in a 12 team tough league. If you are drafting with your typical local league patsies you might get him in the 5th or 6th. Of course it all depends on starter requirements as well. If you have a 1 RB and a flex his value will be diminished along with other lower lever RB's.
cubdaddy
I picked him up in the 5th round --- (5.7)...
Riffraff
Gore was taken (by me) in the first round of all my dynasty drafts last year. In a Survivor league (Aug 13th), he went #36 over-all.

There are some huddle leagues here that would have as tough as, if not tougher competition. I've been seeing him go late 3rd, early 4th in most drafts. He must've been WW's guy. He either took him there or he didn't get him. He picked 3.2 and then again at 4.11. He wasn't going to make it back to him

You were saying those are tougher leagues then other leagues. I'm saying that there are some huddle leagues where the owners are going to be as good as the "experts." kcmast
Drafted him today at 4.01 in a 10 person draft. Someone said REEAAACHHHH. I was happy with the pick.
giantsfan
Took him early 6th as my # 3 RB behind R. Brown and McGahee in my 12 teamer. Shocked he lasted that long. And I was worried he would go before late round 3. I love my RB's now. Start two.

I've played against Dorey. Believe me... he likes 2nd place in the division.
