Nate Newton (ya) on Fox Sports was saying about how smart Jerry Jones is when it comes to contracts and that he's got the financial upper hand on T.O..........i hope thats true..... hit'em where it hurts........can't believe i'm cheering for JJ.......

Here's a thought..what if he really does have an injury, and what if he really did re-aggravate because he got back on the field too early.

 

if it was Hines, or Smith, they would've NEVER pushed him to get back on the field..but with T.O., because he has specialists with him everywhere, he must be faking?

 

I was ASHAMED for PHI last year and what they did (even though T.O. is a tool and messed up) and DAL is starting to look like their heading down the same road.

 

Which is exactly what they deserve for even grabbing him, but he does deserve to be treated like a team mate.

I think the Eagles did exactly what they should have done. T.O. himself admitted in a press conference that if the Eagles would not re-negotiate his contract he would cause problems.

 

Also, if he is injured does that mean he can't attend meetings? And if he is injured why is he missing rehab workouts with the Cowboys? Unless I am mistaken, that is what he was fined for.

Well, yes and no. I believe something should have been said to T.O. about his 100th TD...Reid said he had no prior knowledge of it...so this guy, who's clearly the #1 WR, who was willing to sacrifice himself for the 04 SuperBowl, doesn't even have a HC who knows how many TD's he has? great. And you expect him (nae, you demand him) to act like a team player, when he's clearly not considered part of the team. Yes he makes waves, but if the PHI Eagles were such a high class org. who only want high class in return, they should've handled it QUITE different. I believe they started the problems. He wanted more money, but still showed up for the season, and did his job. 2 wrongs don't make a right, but I'll never say PHI wasn't to blame for that whole scenario.

You're 100% right. i spoke a little too early and didn't realize it was for the meetings and tardiness and stuff. I believe T.O. is a jagoff, and I think DAL is getting what they deserve for even picking him up. After hearing all the facts, I'm completely on their side (regarding the fine) but JJ should've just let Parcells be Parcells and not pushed this whole thing. T.O. is a cancer. He can help you win, but you better make sure you do EVERYTHING right, so he'll a) never have a problem and always be completely at fault when does have a problem.

And you're right, T.O. IS NOT a teammate. But how could the PHI eagles expect such a man to act like a team mate when they weren't treating him like part of the team. Just my thoughts...

I thought that it would take until the 2nd 1/2 of the year for TO to become TO. I refuse to draft the guy not because of what he did to the Eagles, I just don't trust he will play all of the games this year. Even prior to this news, my gut was telling me he will miss games this year (injury or suspension).

there was NO WAY i was drafting him this year. Someone will ALWAYS value him higher than me this year. I might consider him in the 4th, or 5th, but never EVER before that. Probably not even the 4th. He'll infect DAL with the cancer (which is not really a bad thing ) he'll get benched and someone will grab him next year. (DEN? Skeletor has a real uh...firm-on...for guys like this)

If it was an issue of injury why would he have missed a mandatory rehab session. And just how does a team meeting risk him further injuring his hammy? He has no concept of team. He should just pick up boxing or tennis, then he could suck and hurt only himself.
