chinatown dragons
With Larry Allen OUT, hopefully Gore can still find the holes....! Larry Allen - G, San Francisco 49ers 09/12/06 San Francisco 49ers guard Larry Allen (knee) suffered a sprained MCL in his left knee against the Cardinals last Sunday and he is expected to miss anywhere from two to four weeks. Adam Snyder is expected to replace Allen in the 49ers lineup. Huddle Up: Possible blow to San Francisco running back Frank Gore's terrific 2006 start. SMW
That frickin blows since I have Gore, although I must confess...I didn't know Larry Allen was still in the league. Wasn't he on the Dallas super bowl teams of the mid 90's?

nhoops
Ouch...who do they play next? Tough to bench Gore after last week.....but it depends on you other options and thier matchups.
CardinalEmpire.com
STL, who apparently has no run D based on the thread I started in the fantasy football forum. I'm going to debate Gore, Chester Taylor, and Dillon all week long.
geaux4LSU
Dont read into this too much. Last time I checked gore is still the starting RB. He will still be a solid play this year. Isn't this a contract year for him?
irish
Gore will be fine without Allen as his replacement (I forget his name) did a sufficient job.
Gros Membres!
I'm not too worried as he appears to be sufficiently involved in the passing game as well.
kingfish247
I'm not too worried as he appears to be sufficiently involved in the passing game as well. i'm not too worried... yet. he should still see a sufficient amount of touches to make an impact. i'm not counting on him for last week's production healthy o-line or no healthy o-line. That AZ defense is awful. Can't wait to see what he can do against some better Ds.
