wildcat2334
Realize it is week 2- but I am loving Gore. He looks like he is gonna be a top 5-7 back with the way he is running and receiving with Norv callin the shots. What an absolute steal this guy was. Flip_Side
Yep. I think he will come back down to Earth next week vs Philly though. Edited September 17, 2006 by Flip_Side
Steelhead
if he can stop the fumbles...I agree top 10 back.
Randall
Late 5th rounder for me. Can he stay healthy or should we trade him?

mitpdub
Frank "the tank" ! Too bad he fumbled trying to push for the extra yard and TD. That was a 9pt swing I still can't complain the guy looks great so far.
giantsfan
He had one TD and could have easily had four. The fumble plus he was stopped twice inside the 5. Still not complaing. He looks real good. Add in SF's schedule and we may have something here.

bigdadreed
I watched the whole game today & he was quite impressive. It seemed like EVERY time he got hit he would still plow forward for 2-3 extra yards. jake_the_builder
I am waiting to see it in week 6 or 7 when he gets banged up and misses time, he isn't known for staying the healthiest.
splotchman
I have Gore and LT as my RBs in my local. If Gore stays healthy, I'm very much liking my chances after having the high score in my league the first two weeks due to Gore's performances. piratesownninjas
I've been saying Gore was top 10 the entire summer...
kwolf68
Id like to see it against better competition. I hate RBs on teams projected to lose well + 10 games, but so far he's been sweet.

Have you seen his schedule this year?

That's the point they have a easy schedule. Like 5 or so games you'd deem as real tough. The Rams again, the Cards again, KC, Oak, Det, NO, and GB. They also play Minny and Sea at home which aren't games you'd say are impossible. So they have a pretty nice schedule. Plus Smith and the passing game is looking up as well. To me it's about health. If Gore stays healthy, and that is a big if, he will be a very solid top 10ish RB IMO when you factor in his schedule and his use.
wildcat2334
eh- he may get nicked- who knows... the reality is the kid is running hard, and well. Norv using him out of the backfield is hugh as well. In the year of RBBC, I will take Gore and his being the man and getting all the touches every day and twice on Sundays. I can't believe I was actually thinking about grabbing MBell in same rd. or 1 later- Gore is da real deal,

That's crazy to think about when he's been the Top Fantasy RB or near it in the league. The steal of the draft.

piratesownninjas
He's running on two surgically reconstructed knees. I'd say now is the perfect time to trade him. Modern medicine made an 18 month recovery from Culpepper only take 8 months... Carson Palmers career was supposed to be over... Braylon Edwards was supposed to be back around mid season. They both played week one as well. Edgerrin James is running on a repaired knee. Modern medicine is changing the way you need to look at injuries. Frank Gore should be nearly untradable at this point. You better be getting something pretty good... like a top 4-5 back in return.
