Perchoutofwater
Did Romonce Taylor enter the draft? He'd make a pretty good 3rd down back.

jaxfactor
Nate Harris LB Loiusville Anyone ever heard of this guy? I thought he'd get drafted but haven't even seen him on the UDFA lists, although I haven't seen Tennessee's yet. He had 4.55 speed and 20 tackles for loss in his career. Bronco Billy
New link to Draft Daddy’s UDFA list Some signings of interest and well worth keeping an eye on, especially if you play in deep dynasty leagues or have some room on your practice squad for picks later in your draft: New England Undrafted Free Agents: Matt Gutierrez, QB, Michigan/Idaho State ************************************ N.Y. JETS Undrafted Free Agents: Alvin Banks, RB, James Madison ****************************** Buffalo Undrafted Free Agents: Thaddaeus Washington, LB, Colorado
detlef
Jon Abbate ILB Wake Forest That's kind of a sad story 'cause he actually came out early. He had a great career at Wake and was sort of a feel-good story (I forget the specifics but it involved his little brother or something). He's a case where his "measureables" simply didn't measure up. Dude was listed at 5'11" at Wake but only measured 5'9.5" at the combine and barely cracked 5 secs in the 40. I forget the rest but it certainly looked like a guy who'd simply be over-matched at the next level. Of course, there have been plenty before him who overcame size and speed to become viable NFL players, but the combine really hurt his chances. Bring Back Pat!!!
Ok so two guys who I never liked, Chris Leak and Darius Walker. Chris Leak could be intriguing but Darius Walker, boo. David Ball I bet Ball makes the team. He's had a little quad injury for a while, and he wasn't able to run better than the 4.6 or so that was advertised. When healthy, he's difinately faster than that. Great kid, and really good receiver.

Bring Back Pat!!!
probably not a bad comparison. Great hands. And just seems to undersatnd the wide receiver position. Knows how to find open space in zones very well. And the body positioning is fantastic. Very rarely will you see a defender easily knock a ball down in front of him, he always seems to shield defenders away. Great leaper as well, which helped his red zone effectiveness, was a high jumper on the UNH team. And can really help in the red zone, I think. Scored a TD once every 5 or so catches. 58 for his career, on 304 catches at UNH, including a rediculous 24 as a junior. here's one scouts take, listed him as the #21 WR in the draft: Here's your best hands catcher of the entire class. I get the impression that Ball could carry on a conversation about astrophysics while catching balls from a juggs machine and not miss a beat - he seems to have completely internalized his technique to the point where he doesn't think any more (except when he was nervous on NFL Day at the Shrine Game). Ball may not be quick or fast enough to be more than a 3rd WR, but he will help his team convert third downs and make a few highlight catches a year. NFL Comparison: Mike Hass in a Wiry Frame scouting report #1 And this one mentions both Proehl and a slight comparison to Larry Fitzgerald (without top end speed) scouting report #
