great episode all around. I agree, I think Locke will bounce back and heal up quickly. How does Ben miss this though? seems weak that Ben wouldn't think of that. Next weak looks kick ass, some beatdowns coming. Loved seeing Locke dummy the Ruskie - that was great-

My biggest question- who the eff are these guys who overtook and killed all the Dharma peeps?

The writers probably don't even know. :D

I think they wrote them in so they could fill the next three seasons up. :D

my mom actually had a good theory: the others who overtook the dharma camp are descendants of that slave ship that somehow crashed on the island. perhaps jacob was the captain of that ship or something. this would tie into the whole pregnancy thing -- they are desperate to keep the population alive. just a thought.

also, about that whole "richard doesn't age" thing: if the island affects aging, how do the children get older? and they made it a point to show how much ben's dad had aged.

+1 on being distracted that Uncle Rico was Ben's dad.

They are surely setting up for a massive battle at the end of the season.

Also, anyone catch what the "dirt" that Locke stopped to look at was? Almost looked to me like gunpowder. Add that to Rousseau gathering dynamite (remember, she came in last week when Locke had Sawyer locked up) AND since Rousseau now knows that her daughter Alex is alive, and it wouldn't surprise me if she's planning on blowing up half the island.

What's a Yooper?

He lives in the town that I grew-up and went to high school in. A good friend saw him in the local market just last week.

A Yooper is someone from the Upper Pensula of Michigan (as opposed to a "troll" who lives "under the bridge".)

Derived from U-per, with "U" meaning "upper".
