whomper
One of the tastiest solos that I really like is from the song Easy by the Commodores

i_am_the_swammi
For me, gotta be Frampton's "Do You Feel Like I Do"...the anthem of my teen years. I can remember sweating at the old JFK stadium in Philly during the mid-70's, with 100,000 other nuts on a 105 degreee day in July, as Frampton ripped off a 15+ minute version...amazing. And not to be a total momo, but Prince's "Purple Rain" is pretty phenomenal.

Chief Dick
The guitar solo in My Sharona is one of the finest I've ever heard. And everybody knows Eddie Van Halen ripped off that guitar solo from the Kinks, not to mention You Really Got Me.

Actually, speaking of Prince (phenominal musician) - the best guitar solo he has done, IMO, is on a song called "Why you wanna treat me so bad" - greeeaaaaaaat solo. I Like Soup
Gonna toss one out here that always seemed to stick with me even though I don't know the guitarist. The solo from Flirtin' With Disaster by Molly Hatchet. I'll add the riff of "Dreams I'll Never See" is awesome.
piratesownninjas
If you wanna hear some sick guitar solos, listen to Trivium. They are a metal band, and might be hard for most to listen to, but the guitar is insane. Go to youtube and do a search on them. Theres a lot of solo stuff on there. Or I could just listen to older Metallica albums, as thats where Trivium gets all there riffs and leads from in the first place.
RC94
Nigel's big solo in "This is Spinal Tap." I forget the song, but he went off.
SheikYerbuti
Nigel's big solo in "This is Spinal Tap." I forget the song, but he went off. Nigel: It's kind of a mixture of Mozart and Bach. . .so it's sort of a Moch piece. . . Interviewer: And what's it called? Nigel: Lick My Love Pump
