Skippy
I am way out of the loop when it comes to music. Always have been. I just listen and like something and that is about it for me. I have a collection of music but don't know who sings what and really just reach for old favorites all the time. While I just took up your two seconds and added nothing I will just say that I very much enjoy reading these threads. I say to myself, "yeah, that's a good one", all the time. I need to put me a few of these cds together someday.

skylive5
If you would like the exercise, try www.cd-tracker.com then post a link to it. I have my list out there. It says they are closing down 12/31. Also is it just a listing of CD's or a list of songs? Couldn't really tell. And do they track stuff and such? Most of my stuff is off LP's I converted to digital. It's CDs only - it was meant as a swap meet kinda thing though I guess with the advent of iTunes and whatnot, there's less need now. I did list all my LPs as well as CDs. I do have a list of CD's and LP's in Excel.... along with a listing of every song I have on the computer. But I think I will pass on the CDTracker since they aren't going to be around much longer. Thanks though.

Jumbie
"Key to the Highway"...the Clapton version when he was with Derek and the Dominos (It's on the Layla and Other Assorted Lovesongs album/cd). Buddy Guy's version of "Mustang Sally." Simply wicked.
Tommyknocker
I only have the one Strawbs album but really do like it. Dont think I have ever heard any other. I too would like to convert my vinyl to digital but just havent found the ambition. I have a little over 350 albums mostly from the 70s and early 8os. A couple three more I thought of Russ Ballard - On the Rebound , Uriah Heep also does a version which I like better, a little more powerful. Heeps best is The Wizard Axe - Rock-Roll Party in the Streets Angel City - Cant Shake It Ram Jam, now everyone has heard Black Betty but ,off the album Portrait of the Artist as a Young Ram there are two tunes that really kick, Hurricane Ride and Turnpike. For years I have thought this album, front to back, begining to end, side to side is one of the all time best pure rock albums. Pat Travers - Just Got Paid originaly by ZZ Top I think Alice Cooper - You Drive Me Nervous OK thats enough, I could go on for ever.
