budlitebrad
Seems liking he's getting pressured more, but I haven't really watched that many Colts games this season.
Bill Swerski
Their line hasn't been playing that well this year, and it didn't help that Charlie Johnson had to sub for Ugoh in the second half. Peyton's not getting the time to throw that he used to. Â That said, I really like their commitment to (and, most importantly, execution of) the run. That's something that was definitely lacking in the past and it'll be important in the playoffs... again.
Cunning Runt
The Colts are not the same team as they've been in year's past. Â For the first time in several years, they appear to have a defense that can actually stop someone which means they don't have to throw the ball as much 'cause they're in a shootout. Â The beauty in the Colts, as I see it, is that the quick strike capability is still there and it seems like they can kind of turn it on at will. Â Kind of a trip that there are two teams (Colts/Pats) that are that much better than all the others, but they both seem like really complete squads. Â Should be a great game in two weeks in Indy (maybe the factor that sways this one Indy's way). Hopefully they're both undefeated but next week are trap games for both so I can actually see one of the two teams getting beat next week. Redskins have exactly the kind of D that could give the Pats a hard time.

FishFreak
The reality is Manning is having a fine season and on pace to do his usual 4,000 yard 30+ TD season. He's just being over shadowed by Brady's sick campaign. Guys like Romo and Anderson putting up numbers also doesn't help.

Having to take Manning in the 1st round also doesn't help when you could have gotten Brady in the 3rd, Romo in the 5th, Anderson off waivers

Guys like Romo and Anderson putting up numbers also doesn't help. 30+ is not usual, he has only eclipsed 30 TDs 3 times in his career 33% of the time he tosses for 30+, 78% of the time he goes for 4000+

detlef
Is this thread about the team? No. Â Actually, it sort of is. That's what they're trying to tell you. You asked. That would give him 4 seasons with 30 or more TD's and one season with 29 and a few others with 27+. Is that close enough for you? All in all, I think most owners expect 30+TD's and 4,000 yards. Plus in the Colt offense there is always a chance of 40+TD's. Guys need to appreciate his consistency and be glad he's tossing 2 TD's a week. The big games will come, just be patient.
