i_am_the_swammi
Midway thru 2007, and it looks more and more that there will be some additions and subtractions to the Top-10 next year. Here's mine, based on a PPR scoring system: 1. LT 2. Peterson 3. Addai 4. Jackson 5. Bush 6. Parker 7. Moss 8. Gore 9. Brady 10. L. Johnson Brady offers so much upside over the other QBs, I think the idea of taking a QB in the first round has to be considered. K. Jones, Westbrook & Manning just missed this list. Ziachild007
I think I would probably take AP first overall. If he can do what he is doing with out anything close to a stable passing game, just think what he could do with a little help. If you are doing PPR, I dont see how Westbrook wouldn't be a top 5, along with Bush. GOre would drop out of the top 10. I didn't want to take him this year, but did so in 3 or 4 leagues, because it was the "safe" thig to do.
rai
Really Jackson are you serious? I think: 1: AP 2: LT 3: Brady rest of the RBs and Moss in the 1st.

I gotta give Jackson some slack...he has been hurt, and playing behind a hurt OL. That offense has taken a beating physically. I think the 2006 SJax is probably more accurate as to what his potential is. If I am picking 8th or lower next year, and Jackson is still on the board, he will be the steal of the draft. I also dropped Westbrook several notches, due to the fact that I beleive he will be playing behind a 2nd-year QB, and possibly a new coach in a new system. gsmayes
Hmmm, Brady in the first round? I'll let someone else chase his monster career year. Then those same people can bitch about how he ends the season with *only* 3800 yards and 30 TDs.
MrTed46
1. AP 2. LT 3. Addai 4. Bush 5. Parker 6. Westbrook 7. LJ 8. M Lynch 9. Moss 10. Brady

MrTed46
What about Ronnie Brown. He was #1 in my league when he got hurt. I like him but he is so risky in the 1st round. Bad team + injury prone gives me the creeps (esp bad team).

Bad team + injury prone gives me the creeps (esp bad team). +1 As good as he looked this year, I won't be the one to risk a pick on a guy coming back from an injury that typically takes 1-2 years from which to fully recover. Lynch was also on my radar, but I don't see him cracking the top-10 just yet....I need to see him do his thing a full 16 games. MrTed...you too off the SJax bandwagon? Man, if I was in a 10-team league, and I got him in the 2nd round, I'd consider it a huge success no matter how the rest of my draft went. I guess I am still silly on what he did for me the end of last year, and feel this year's injury (and those of his OL) make him waaaay undervalued. Skilly
Considering their injury history to date, there is no way Gore or Jackson should go 1st round next year.
Sgt. Ryan
1. LT 2. Peterson 3. Addai 4. Jackson 5. R Brown 6.Westbrook - pt per recpetion league 7. Brady 8. L Johnson 9. Parker 10. Moss Edit, this was also the last yr Harrison will ever go ahead of Wayne, and CJ ahead of Housh. B Edwards will be a top 15 pick as well, over S Smith. Edited November 5, 2007 by Sgt. Hugh 0ne
Be careful with Peterson folks. Childress is the head coach there, that means there's a pretty good chance he'll screw something up to lessen Peterson's value. Besides, 8 games does not a number one draft pick make. SF409ers
Edit, this was also the last yr Harrison will ever go ahead of Wayne, and CJ ahead of Housh. B Edwards will be a top 15 pick as well, over S Smith. I agree except that if CJ leaves and depending on where he ends up he could go before Housh. I am not sure how high I would rank Housh next year if he moves into the #1 spot.

XBonesX
No way i take Peterson over LT. Dude is good, but I have to see more then 1 year out of someone before i crown him...plus on a bad team, teams will start putting 9 in the box to shut him down
Pkillebr
1. LT 2. Parker 3. AP 4. Addai 5. Bush 6. Lynch 7. Edge 8. Brady 9. Barber* 10. Westbrook *I have a feeling by next season MBIII will be seeing most of the touches. Maybe this year, maybe not but he is turning into one of the better backs in this league. He's tied for 8th in the league for total TDs with 7 and the only RB ahead of him are LT, Addai and AP. He's 15th for rushing yards and 5th for avg per carry and 2nd if you only look at backs with 100+ touches. He wasnt worth a top5 pick this year and hes def not worth a top 10 next year. IMO. I guess we'll agree to disagree. I think he's on "a real bad team" because they lost their top SEVEN OL to injuries, and are litterally starting guys they digned off the street. I can't imagine the same thing will happen again next year. If it was just Jackson not performing, I'd worry a tad more, but with Bulger, Holt and Jackson all seeing a decrease in their numbers, I kind of think its the common thread. Disagree on Brady. Depending on how the contract situations play out in Dallas Marion Barber may be top 10.
