I ddin't buy that piped in crowd noise right from the get go. That was all hogwash IMO. And like I said even if there were piped in noise the Pats still would have won the game. :D

psst, then stop complaining about Colts fans defending our teams integrity, and call out the whiny Pats fans who started and piled on in this thread before it was shown to be a farce.

:D at this dodo giving me "insight" into the Patriots pre-snap. As if Brady invented the wheel. Give me a break. Brady learned that foot-stomping trick from Manning, who has been doing it for years. Obviously he didn't watch the Colts offense do the same thing.

And Brady doesn't call out the number to his offensive mates. He reads the play of his wristband. How exactly does that save time?

:D Brady learned how to call a silent count snap in shotgun from Manning? I'm amazed. Manning must be like Van Damme from Timecop where he can go back and teach the NFL how to raise your foot up so the center can look back at who to block.

They have classes for anger management that can help you with your blind hatred for the Patriots.

Nope. Was referring to the "foot stomp". Manning has been doing that for years. The first one is to hopefully lure the defense into showing their coverage. The second foot stomp is to signal the center to snap the ball.

your the one, and your soft Cult buddies, who started slingin the sh!t in this thread.

before that we were having a decent discussion of a great game....

idiot.

"Colts are Cheaters?" is the topic of this thread. So who was slinging mud first? You and Sleeping Kings need some reading comprehension classes.

And you think Manning invented this? Did you watch football pre-1998? Marino did this all the time, heck the "great" Drew Bledsoe did it just about every play (Home or Road).

They call it by number to get out of the huddle faster. Brady spends a lot of time pre snap calling out the mike so the line can make protection adjustments. You will also notice, especially on the road, that while in shotgun Brady usually does a hard foot stomp for a fake snap hoping the defense will show the blitz and coverage. This all takes time so getting the played called as fast as possible helps.

You were the one acting like Brady was doing something unconventional.

Huh? I have never posted anything about the Colts cheating. I actually defended them saying piping in noise would not be a big deal even if they did it.

I didn't say you said the Colts cheated. I said you need some reading comprehension. Thank you for confirming my diagnosis.

Hook, they recommend seeing a doctor if you still have an erection 4 hours after taking viagra. How long will your erection for trying to slap people around in this thread last? :D

You get an erection while posting on The Huddle? That's weird.

I never acted like he did anything. I said what he "does" do. I'm sure you are still pissed from the game so I will overlook you being an ass. :D

WE KNOW WHAT HE DOES. How that relates to using a number instead of calling in plays, only you know.

Way to bring back the old "I know you are but what am I" comeback... :D

I just never would have linked "posting on the huddle" to "causing erections" in the same sentence. I just figured you were talking from experience.

man, you guys really are dense. This thread was started, and Pats fans were immediately bashing the Colts. It didn't start out as "a decent discussion of a great game", which was your assertion in post #155. You also said that it was the Colts fans who started "slinging sh!t".

I pointed out that since this threads whole point was not game discussion, but in fact, Pats fans whining about crowd noise. So, who was wrong again?

Some play calls are up to 15 words. It takes a lot more time for an offensive coordinator to call that into the QB's headset than it would to call out a number. It can also prevent miscommunication.

Or we can go with your theory that Belichick is scared of getting the plays stolen. But then we would have to throw the Saints, Steelers, Cowboys, Packers and Panthers in that list since they use wristbands. I even found a link to explain it to you. Read it slowly.

I know I didn't use the tongue-in-cheek gremlin when I originally posted my "theory". But I figured most were smart enough to comprehend. Guess not. :D

It's funny that the Colts can call 3 plays in the huddle, and still not have miscommunication, and still have time to do the amazing Brady double foot stomp too. . .
