irish
Seeing Heath Miller's catch just a moment ago got me thinking about the rule. Why is this allowed? I mean it was a great catch by Miller but out of bounds, is well...out of bounds. You always hear people/coaches/announcers say how defenders should use the sidelines as an extra defender to help them when defending, yet in this case it helps the offense. I feel that if the offense wants to chance throwing near the sidelines, that the receivers should have to get possession with both feet in bounds and retain it through hitting the ground out of bounds. Can someone explain? Thoughts...

Grits and Shins
If force outs were allowed ... then I suspect the Huddler known as Irish would be long gone.

I mean hey if they want to stop the clock they should save their timeouts....Spiking the ball sure seems like intentional grounding
gilthorp
Seeing FWP just cough up the ball, have you ever wondered why fumbling is allowed? Can someone explain?
keggerz
Seeing FWP just cough up the ball, have you ever wondered why fumbling is allowed? Can someone explain? fumbles should only be allowed if its not raining or snowing
Avernus
fumbles should only be allowed if its not raining or snowing exactly...the weather conditions make this really unfair...
Grits and Shins
fumbles should only be allowed if its not raining or snowing It is FWP's fault. Madden says he shouldn't wear those sleeves in the rain.
bushwacked
Why is the distance between each upright on the goal posts 18' and 6"?
Avernus
Why is the distance between each upright on the goal posts 18' and 6"? because a FG is worth 3 points and 18/6 is 3.......
Grits and Shins
Why is the distance between each upright on the goal posts 18' and 6"? Because that is the optimum distance that allows ref.s to sneak in a FG instant replay.

Avernus
also..the only time a force out is illegal is when you force a chick to go out with you by gunpoint after she refuses... well...I'm pretty sure it's illegal everywhere except in Texas
keggerz
because a FG is worth 3 points and 18/6 is 3....... no its because you can fit 21 footballs side by side between the goal posts and 21 is 3 times a regular TD with xtra point
