T-Scorp
Our first and both thirds... might be a little steep but I'm happy we got the deal done. Now if we can just get a QB!!
gbpfan1231
Thought this deserved it's own thread... ps - BJ can you fix the name spelling? Won't this just ultimately add more disappointment to Viking fans in the end? That is the way it always seems to turn out for the Vikes so why all the happiness? Savage Beatings
Obviously very VERY happy about this move! It's exciting to know that the Vikings front office and owner are willing to make some big moves to try to improve this team. I don't always agree with the moves they make, but they aren't just sitting back and raking in the money like Red McCombs was doing. These guys are actively trying to improve this franchise. I love it!!!
THE SIX KINGS
Anything over 10 sacks will be a successful deal.
Kid Cid
A good if pricey move by the Vikes. Just what was KC thinking? There's no way they pull a performer of that caliber in this draft.
loyalboyd
Anything over 10 sacks will be a successful deal. With those D tackles they got and a decent d end on the other side. Allen is going to have a field day. I am so glad he is on my fantasy team.
Swiss Cheezhead
As long as he's on the field, it's a good move for the Vikes (bad for the Packers ). But giving up that much for a guy who's so close to a significant suspension is pretty risky.
Fatman
Take a look at the front page of the Star Tribune... http://www.startribune.com/ "Vikings get Allen, but at steep price" "Minnesota ranks among worst in DWIs, study shows" Ruh roh... Randall
Instant poll: What do you think of the Vikings' trade for Allen? It will make them a Super Bowl contender It will just get them to the top of their division It shouldn't help them that much...it all depends on Tarvaris Jackson It's a bad decision that mortgages their future
MrTed46
A great signing for Viking fans. Their Defense is getting real good.

Not Super Bowl contenders yet. Not bad decision to mortgage the future. They have drafted DE's in the first round 4 or 5 times and haven't panned out. They know exactly what they got now. piratesownninjas
Our first and both thirds... might be a little steep but I'm happy we got the deal done. Allen is still a few years away from 30 and is arguably the best defensive player in the league. You have no guarantee that any of those picks pan out... I'd be loving this as a Vikings fan. So you have Allen, Williams, Williams, and who play the other end spot?

I love it!!! At least I didn't move the team to San Antonio or LA.

Azazello1313
what a bonehead move (yet again) by the chiefs.

I think they might sign me to play the other end spot as it won't matter at all
MrTed46
How many people think the Vikes make the playoffs? I think they will even if I played QB. Now that they can design plays for AP I think they will. AP will give any QB open receivers.
