Chavez Posted March 14, 2004 Share Posted March 14, 2004 Eh, the Big Ten was down this year. #10 in the polls, one game back of the Big Ten regular season champ and the tourney title SHOULD have gotten them at least a 4 seed, though. That series was mostly home field advantage. The last time a visiting team won a game in that series was in 1989 (GB @ DAL). And Wisconsin is a virtual home team for the first 2 rounds. justin Posted March 15, 2004 Share Posted March 15, 2004 Normally for them to get a six seed would be disrespectful, however the committee placed them in Wisconsin the first two rounds - so I'd say that makes up for the low seed. Richmond is one of the NCAA Tournament's upset kings. As a double-digit seed, the Spiders have pulled off victories over Auburn, Indiana and Syracuse.
