MikesVikes
Desmond Hatchett, a 29 year old who lives in Knoxville, Tennessee, has fathered 20 (maybe 21) children with at least 11 different mothers. The kids, who are between 11 months and 11 years old, require food, clothing, etc. which doesn't come cheap. That's a problem for their minimum-wage earning father. "I had four kids in the same year. Twice." Hatchett says. He was called to court last week where he appeared on the docket eleven times to answer for 15 of his 21 children who haven't received child support recently. The mothers of Hatchett's children are supposed to get anywhere from $25 to $309 a month, but the government is only allowed to take up to 50% of his pay check, and when that's split so many times some women only get a $1.98 a month. link

TimC
Since I was old enough to push a lawnmower or change my own diaper, I used to make it on less than $1.98 a month from my parents. I'd ask my Dad for $2.00 for something and I'd have to hear about the history of currency throughout the ages. Hell, I knew more than wiegie could ever hope to know before I was 6 years old. I'm fairly certain I made $10.00 for tying my Mother's tubes together while still exiting to save the doctor fees.
Big John
Speaking of $1.98, there was this 70's TV show $1.98 Beauty Show Edited May 28, 2009 by Big John
Double Agent
Sounds like he's taking care of his responsibilities so I have no problem with this. If the mothers can't make it on $1.98 a month, then they need to cut out luxuries like food and toilet paper.
Perchoutofwater
You can't fix stupid. Sure you can. It is no different than taking you dog in to get fixed. Anyone, man or woman that receives any type of federal assistance that has two or more children should be sterilized prior to receiving any checks.
