muck
We've all seen them, and some of us have received them. The "cringe" gift. My story: Company Christmas party in (approx.) 2000 ... our 75 year old grandfatherly company chairman gives gifts to all the 12 or so employees (including the other partners) that is the same thing. A personal massager that (in his words), "...has all these angles and things so that you can massage your own back, including all the hard to reach areas because the handle bends ... see ..." ...and then he proceeds to alternate between applying to his back the flat-gel-padded surface that was about the size of the palm of your hand and the hard plastic surface that had these raised ribs on it... All the employees cringed. The two young women (both of whom were very modest) turned BRIGHT red. I think that at least two or three of the "personal massagers" never quite made it to the recipients cars for the trip home...
untateve
I don't get it. I think a personal massager is a very nice gift.

I figured he used it to clean his crocs. I mean you can't wear them out on a Saturday night if they aren't shiny.
