Mr Hammock
Good little brew ha going we have here tonight As much as I enjoy this, well it hurts. Favre should have retired a Packer. This is just not right. But at least how it's playing out, it shows that the GODS of the NFL are making it as right as they can.
piratesownninjas
Packers have moved the ball pretty well against the Vikings D. They're just beating themselves and killing their own drives. Yep. Rodgers Fumble, Rodgers INT, and a dropped ball in the endzone on 4th down will kill you. Getting down the field is the tough part... tosberg34
Gotta give props that Favre is having a heck of a game. I did not think he would look this good. I agree. He looks good. However, let's wait until the end of the season to see how he looks. We've seen this before.
griff321
TBH I think a PA on an early down would have resulted in a TD. Bad play calling on that entire set of downs.
electricrelish
Packers have moved the ball pretty well against the Vikings D. They're just beating themselves and killing their own drives. I agree. They found a lot of holes tonight. They are still in this game. Vikings D were lucky to hold them thanks to that drop.
ROYALWITCHEESE
Disagree. And it was a good play call. At some point, players have to make plays. The vikings are doing it. THe pack just can't match. I believe when you play a physical team like the Vikings, you have to match that. You can't let them punk you into shotgun passes from the one yard line. Even if he catches that, you've set the tone of "we can't physically compete with you up front, so we're going to resort to this."

FIRST DOWN VIKINGS!!!! He will be 40 next week. They drafted Rodgers when he was 35! Maybe Rodgers can take some advice from the WR RICE and just throw the ball away! piratesownninjas
Gotta give props that Favre is having a heck of a game. I did not think he would look this good. Everyone except Peterson is playing lights out. Pass protection for Favre is insanity. Rice, Harvin and Berrian are making plays every chance they get. Favre is hitting everyone in perfect stride. Jared Allen and CO are killing what is starting to look like the worst O line in the league. The Vikings are clearly playing on a different level than Green Bay. We can talk about the turnovers in the redzone or whatever, but good teams don't make those mistakes. Green Bay is playing uninspired ball right now. The play calling is horrid, the focus of players ie Lee's drop, Chillar's penalty standing over AD is asinine. MM needs to get this team under control right now, or we're headed for another spare season.

piratesownninjas
Agreed. Lee... ...butterfingers... Finley's blocking sucks less than Lee's pass catching. Finley has got to take over the position... And hell, if he can't block, it's not like he's out of place. Colledge is getting close to being a spare/bust. BLAH. Plus, if Lee makes that catch, then this whole game is different right now.
gilthorp
Pack should be down 11 with 12 minutes to play. Their coaches panicked.

MTSuper7
This game was over as soon as the Vikings signed Favre. Call it - The right thing to see happen. Dude, you've made your point about Favre about 35 times already. We get it. I really feel sorry for you. I mean, to think that this is probably your only social outlet. See, how it works is that you share your opinion one time, and if people don't seem to want to discuss it with you, you take the hint and move on to something else. piratesownninjas
Colledge going down couldn't hurt the offense... The guy has nothing, so maybe we'll see someone that wants it more.
