myhousekey
I must be in the minority but I love this stuff. The "No Fun League" is getting pretty old. Pretty soon if you smile after scoring a td you'll get flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct. Edit: The college game is getting just as bad. I think it was the Georgia/LSU game I was watching recently where it seemed like on every td someone was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct. Capt. Stanky
As a Bengals fan, I just wish Chad wouldn't do this for such a big game. Ray and company don't need any extra motivation to pound us. I guess I'm happy he's at least backing up his big mouth on the field this year.

BeeR
I must be in the minority but I love this stuff. The "No Fun League" is getting pretty old. No, actually I am, by far. Occasionally announcers used to speak out against it, but they gave up because it's too popular. Most people nowdays seem to think this egomaniac BS is great. I was fine with a quick spike of the ball or a high-five with teammates (or even that stupid "bump" thing they're into now), but I see nothing "fun" about some H.R. Puffenstuff circus clown (PS that's not an exaggeration - all that's missing is the makeup and big floppy shoes) like this going out of their way to make a fool of themselves with some goofball little routine, and am amazed at how interested people are in that crapola. Well hey why stop there? How about on the sidelines we could put a few elephants, and walking through the crowd up n down the aisles we could have guys juggling and swallowing stuff on fire, and up above midfield some trapeze artists? It's all so childish and asinine. I'm If football isn't "fun" enough all by itself for someone, they should stick to watching wrasslin. /dinosaur rant

aruss
Yeah, wrong team to run your mouth again. I know Ray is his buddy, but Chad shouldn't have said he would bust him in the mouth. I hope that was misquoted.

I think it was the Georgia/LSU game I was watching recently where it seemed like on every td someone was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct. +1. My wife and I just enjoyed a two minute laugh when I read the part about sending the fine to the NFL ahead of time. It's entertainment and I think it's great. I also agree about the college game. I think it was the NCSU vs. Wake Forest game that I saw an excessive celebration penalty called when the DE who got the sack crossed his arms in celebration. It's all becoming ridiculous. That penalty could have been a game changer and this kind of BS is rampant in both the NFL and college ball these days. Fans get excited as hell when watching the games and the players should be able to get excited too without worrying about hurting their teams. Don't forget they're getting paid millions because they entertain us.
JimmyKerrigan
Seriously dinosaur. I love Chad. I don't remember him getting a DUI, hitting his girlfriend, making it rain and trying to take back his money, stomping on another player's head, or all the real problems players have. You go Girl, err, Chad. Hear, hear! I can not tell you how big my grin is every time an announcer says Ochocinco, especially since those pantywaists are so quick to judge players from 'pon high. The Pepto-Bismol, the check-list, the old velcro name plate, the name change, all hilarious. I'm all for it, and it's not taunting. Shaun Merriman's stupid dance, now, is another story... Now THAT would be entertaining. Chance are, Chad would knock out that other player. If Freddie Roach says good things about his hands, then it's someone I wouldn't want to spar with. The guy is awesome. He's having fun. He doesn't break the law, get popped with steroids/masking agents or any of that other crap.

whomper
Among other things, according to the Baltimore Sun, Ochocinco said he’d hit Ray Lewis in the mouth, called Ravens CB Domonique Foxworth “Vivica Foxworth”, and even challenged LB Terrell Suggs to a boxing match. Suture
He found it twice last week... It's not as if he's in the middle of a TD drought... I know, and I have him starting -- but I'm talking more in reference to his overall performance. If he would catch the ball as much as he talked... you know what I'm saying.
