David Weigel, Politics Reporter David Weigel is a reporter covering the conservative movement for The Washington Independent, and a contributing editor of Reason. His work has appeared in The American Prospect, The American Conservative, The American Spectator, The Guardian, Politico, and The Economist. And in what main stream tome is this guy regularly published? The czars need to be confirmed. I really wonder about the motivations of those that are not concerned. What is wrong with you? I know my father - buried in Arlington, having fought for your right to spew idiocy- is spinning in his grave. This is a very sincere question. Are those of you debating me at this point not concerned that the country is in jeopardy? If not, you have your head in the sand or already speak fluent Chinese. I do care that he has stacked his administration with unconfirmed czars - most of them with nefarious, if not communist and Marxist connections and backgrounds. (That should concern you all, save for the ones that just want to make a ridiculous point.) All of those connections would have been revealed in Senate conformation hearings as Democrats Bryd and Feingold have called for. As far as your "birther" inference, I am a "constitutionalist," and Obama is not eligible. That's what happens in three party races with three weak candidates. Saying things like members of congress should be investigated for anti-american bias.. including the president. Then says how she's going to comit a crime by ignoring the census cause Acorn is out to get her, even Beck cut her off on his show cause her ranting was getting so looney. Or sponsoring bills to have intelligent design in the class room. She is a disgrace on our fine state and the voters will show that in the next election because most Minnesotans find someone who thinks dinosaurs were around a few thousand years ago unfit to lead us. You may not care about your place and space in this country, but I will scream, fight, and do anything necessary to keep mine (and yours for that matter). Wake up before it's to late chief. They have control of the banks, the financial institutions, the car companies, and the some of the unions. They are now working on the energy producers, the medical industry, and the free press. At least Hitler was able to bring the Olympics to Berlin! On a different note. I am not a Rush fan or hater. I do not listen to his show. I do think that as an American, if he has the money to do so and there is nothing illegal about the transaction, he should be able to buy whatever the F he wants! Why does the freedom so many have died to win and protect only belong to the people we agree with from a political perspective? Would we be having this same discussion if Soros was trying to buy the team but only all the roles reversed? Whatever happened to "MIND YOUR OWN FRICKEN BUSINESS"?
