Chavez
Grant isn't playing great, but he can't block for himself. OL is getting blowed up.
buddahj
didn't even get a chance. up by 26 pts & still trying to throw.

Chavez
And Clifton is hurt again - looks serious. Someone is going to have to step up and get all the false starts and illegal formations that will be lost.
Big John
Someone is going to have to step up and get all the false starts and illegal formations that will be lost. I was wondering if he was watching Flozell Adams tapes.
piratesownninjas
Someone is going to have to step up and get all the false starts and illegal formations that will be lost. TJ Lang looked very good run blocking in his limited opportunities. I know Clifton was rusty, but being a vet like he is, there is no reason why he shouldn't be lined up correct. As good as he was in the past, he no longer has it. He played terrible before he was hurt. If Green Bay is going to give up 5 sacks a game, I'd rather it happen with young guys in... Give TJ Lang a shot at LT. He can't be worse than Colledge/Clifton disaster turnstile.
piratesownninjas
What a bum this year. Can't even run against the Lions. You couldnt find 5 runningbacks in the league that could have done anything behind the line. Grant isn't an elite talent, but not a spare at all I'm hoping Lang taking over can infuse the line with a new attitude or nastiness. I think that's good value.
griff321
What a shocker, Grant does nothing with that O-line. Honestly people see a match up and never think that about all the factors that go into running the ball effectively. Oh look Julius Jones has a solid 3 ypc avg, it's still early but that's not going to change because you can't trust a RB behind a line that had an injury atom bomb dropped on them. piratesownninjas
Grant just can not buy a TD. Committe backs are actually better than this stiff Heard a rumor Mike Bush is available from Oak for a 3 or a 4. I think that's good value. Im not sure Bush helps anything, as I don't think Grant is the problem. I think they would be better served to use those picks for lineman
Henry Muto
Glad I drafted Grant over Ray Rice in 1 league
BeeR
Not up on the game but 90 yds rushing isn't too shabby. Score would've been nice though.
tosberg34
Not up on the game but 90 yds rushing isn't too shabby. Score would've been nice though. Yes it would have been nice, considering that they were at the 1 and McCarthy decided to throw one in - don't ask me why you wouldn't give the ball to your RB when you're at the opponents 1 with a 1st and 10. Anyways, then Rodgers fumbled the damn ball when they were on the 2 (on the next possession). I nearly had a seizure when that happened. I had specifically targeted Grant in my draft because he was flying under the radar but it appears everyone else knew something I didn't. So 90 yds is nice but it was all in garbage time. Are you reading any of these posts? The Packers have many major injury issues on it's O-line.
Big John
Are you reading any of these posts? The Packers have many major injury issues on it's O-line. Mostly with Clifton. The line simply sucks as a whole.
Chavez
Mostly with Clifton. The line simply sucks as a whole. Yep. Aside from Clifton, they played with their other 4 preferred starters in. Oh, Spitz was out so Wells was C, but that's not a big falloff.
kickureface
so how did they pull off the preseason super attacks with this line?
BearBroncos
I was trying hard to move up in the draft this year to get into a position to nab Grant.... Glad that didn't work out. Ended up getting Smith as my #3 which isn't a whole lot better, but at least consistent.
Furd
I picked him up in a couple of leagues, figuring that he was flying a little under the radar. He's running hard, but the holes aren't there. There also appears to be a relcutance to use hin on the goal line. wahwah
BearBroncos
Their offensive line just aren't making the gaps so rather than go 3 n out at the goal line, they figure just punch it in with Rodgers arm.
Belushi
so how did they pull off the preseason super attacks with this line? Teams run base defences in the preseason so they don't give anything away.
