Skilly
Some folks here may have seen Robin Hood and liked it, so I mean no offense, but in my opinion, that movie sucked big-time. We actually walked out about one hour into it. What a waste.
Savage Beatings
How many times can you remake the same movie and expect it to have any entertainment level for the audience?

Square
Really? It was that bad? The way I understood it was that the movie was either before or after the previous stories of Robin Hood so it had little to do with the previous canon. Same leading actor and director from Gladiator. I thought it would be decent.

Menstrualgravy
I saw it last night. Spoiler Alert The acting was pretty good. It was a prequel of sorts. The nemesis isnt the Sheriff of Nottingham. I thought it was o.k. Maybe a bit too long. Robin dosent really spend much time doing archery. Not bad for a new twist.
westvirginia
Robin hood stole from the government and gave back to the people. The IRS would destroy everyone looking for him today...

Dutch Oven
We saw it yesterday. It was pretty good, IMO. Definitely not great.
The Holy Roller
Kevin Costner's Robin Hood was as far as I could go with the storyline. Erroll Flynn IS Robin Hood.
Missoula Griz
Talked to two people at work today. Both said it was weak. One guy said whoever made the trailer should of made the movie.
Hugh B Tool
Good movie IMO, historically accurate. Now I can see if you liked Costners portrayal and his midwestern drawl he gave to Robin and all the historically incorrect shat they spun then yeah you probably wouldn't like this one. An attention span of more than two minutes, along with at least a high double digit IQ certainly helps in this one. Was a bit long though as some Scott movies tend to be. Skilly
Hmm, looks like we have pretty mixed reviews. Rotten Tomatoes.com ranks it at around 47% on the "fresh-o-meter" or whatever they call it.
muck
Wife and I saw it. We were entertained. We have not talked about it since leaving the theater, though. B-
wolfden1
Deals with the before part of the story, shows how he ends up in the forest. A bit long as stated previously, but pretty good movie IMO
Chargerz
I enjoyed this movie even though the second half was pretty predictable and I don't find Kate Blanchett very attractive. The attention to historic detail, acting, and cinematography were great. Grade: B
REZ
I thought it was pretty good. Little long but not too noticeable.
