BC texted me some pics of a very passed out D3...

Yeah we need to learn that we can't go balls-out on the first night anymore. We're too old for that.

So, Thursday night was fun, hung out at a sports bar called Blondie's, had several cocktails, beers and shots. Came back to the hotel, unsuccessfully gambled and uhhh... went to bed.

Will update the rest of the days at some point. Winding the trip down to its final few hours.

Friday was fun, just wandering around casinos and the strip. Spent several hours at Toby Kieth's joint at Harrah's, watched some football and got our drink on.

Saturday morning was like Christmas, going to the draft and anticipating an afternoon of college football. Our draft went excellent. Made our way back to "old standby bar #1" (Blondie's) for more greasy food and mass quantities of booze. Things got on the crazier side as a Huddler to go un-named snorted lines of ranch dressing, Tapatillo sauce and salt. The tail end of Saturday night was on the mellower side, but was spent with great people!

Sunday morning took a few slaps in the butt  to get rolling due to a packed Hilton sports book (60 Minutes was filming there) and Blondie's jerkin' us around for a table. Settled on "old standby bar #2" (the PBR Bar and Grill), which set up well for us (thanks again, Bier!). Watched the games there, had some food and beers, and said goodbye to departing Huddlers.

Sunday night was down to the bare bones of the group, and watched the Cowboy/Skin debacle and chilled in the hotel room. Turned in early and now it's back off to central Texas.

A good time had by all. Good teams drafted with good Week 1 results. Hope to see you all this time next year!

It was nice hitting $4,000 on a $25 slot machine. 7-7-double. I'll post crappy cell phone pics if they came out readable later.

We've hit $200 three times on a penny machine putting 5 dollars in it and a few nice timely flushes/straights on 3-card poker. Never really had this good of a run of short-term luck. Blackjack has been a little brutal. I don't trust Asian dealers and it's getting tougher and tougher finding one.

Vdara is very nice. Aria is awesome. We ate at Jean George's Steakhouse Friday night and it was excellent.

Great seeing everyone again! We're gonna get Bier ripped on Jagermeisters one day. It was great seeing BillyBalata, Darin and BC again and meeting SwissCheesehead. He's pretty cool for a gawd-danged Packer fan. Twiley is, well...Twiley. That mofo needs a chaperone and an EMT following him around. Badly. Oh, and Montster's breastesseses are as soft and supple in person as we've all imagined.

I think some of you people have a serious drinking problem.:lol:

It's nice to pay for this year's trip and next years too.

I spent a week at the Aria a couple weeks ago. I understand there's a bunch of political issues surrounding that place, but I thought it was a great place as well. Solid restaurants. I didn't leave much other than to take the train to the Bellagio or cross the street to the PBR bar.

Still disappointed you wouldn't let me be your best man, I was gonna get the powder blue tux and everything. I would have rocked it.

Great hanging with you and the "mrs." again this year.

I am. After a week in Vegas I was in slow-motion at work.

I can only imagine what a full week must do to a man. Four nights for me is perfect.

I love my wife to death, but there's just something about draggin' ass up to your room in Vegas, stinking of cigarettes, tossing your pants (complete with a wad of cash and receipts in the pocket) and beer-soaked shirt on the ground and passing out in a heap on the bed. I'm not sure I even got into the covers those first couple nights.

Only 358 days until WCOFF 2011.
