Got an interview, which I just returned from. Getting this gig would literally change me and my new family's life for the better in ways I simply can't describe. I would appreciate your thoughts/prayers/vibes.

Good luck

Thanks everyone.

When will you find out?

Early-to-middle part of next week. I will take the liberty of contacting some people in the industry to gauge their interest on the product I'd be "representing" and may let my prospective employer know (on Monday) that I have already reached out to said folks.

E2A: And, FWIW, if I land this, I'd like to have folks like SEC, swammi and even BJ (and anyone else in the development/engineering realm) as an audience.

Good luck D. Showing your prospective employer you are doing due diligencve would be a good thing, especially if the feedback is positive and you can ask a question about the product as your excuse for contacting them.

I had my interview last Wed and got the job, it's no dream job, but it's a job with reasonable promotional opps. Hope it goes well for you.

Two things:

* Keep your list of qiestiions to prospective clients short (no more than four or five questions).

* When giving feedback to your prospective employer, if there were a small handful of negatives and a huge amout of positives, pick five comments to share with your prospective employer, with the negative one in the middle where you use it as an opportunity to ask how they would want you to respond to that objection ... because it shows them you want to learn and are coachable.

Good luck!

Once convinced a guy Zima kegs were clear

When I drove a truck with the Coors Light logo on it, I told people that when it got cold it turned blue just like the cans and bottles.

I think I only got 25% to actually believe me.
