yo mama
I'm fine with hippies in the streets - that's freedom of speech and assembly. I'm not okay with hacking the NYSE.

Ursa Majoris
I'm fine with hippies in the streets - that's freedom of speech and assembly. I'm not okay with hacking the NYSE. Nor me. That's likely to damage lots of the people that these folks are said to be protesting for.
yo mama
kinda like using drones to kill people. I'm okay with the drones. But our our government could at least publicly convict the American Al-queda of treason *before* killing them. Obama was supposed to be above these Bush-era tactics. Apparently he isn't. yo mama
That I am aware Anonymous is a private organization of hackers. I have read nothing linking them with Occupy Traitor Street. They "allegedly" threatened to hack Wall Street if protesters were rounded up and jailed.
Clubfoothead
They "allegedly" threatened to hack Wall Street if protesters were rounded up and jailed. You have google on that computer? Anonymous has been around a lot longer than the Traitor Street protestors. They've hacked a ton of $hit. Here's a good story from Forbes: http://www.forbes.com/sites/andygreenberg/...groups-members/ Edited October 7, 2011 by Clubfoothead

Square
Anybody can claim they are Anonymous. Lulzsec isn't much different and they've probably done far more malicious things. It's not really surprising that they would back the occupy wall street people. Here is a message that the two groups sent to the FBI about 3 months ago. Hello thar FBI and international law authorities, We recently stumbled across the following article with amazement and a certain amount of amusement: http://www.npr.org/2011/07/20/138555799/fb...onymous-hackers The statements made by deputy assistant FBI director Steve Chabinsky in this article clearly seem to be directed at Anonymous and Lulz Security, and we are happy to provide you with a response. You state: “We want to send a message that chaos on the Internet is unacceptable, [even if] hackers can be believed to have social causes, it’s entirely unacceptable to break into websites and commit unlawful acts.” Now let us be clear here, Mr. Chabinsky, while we understand that you and your colleagues may find breaking into websites unacceptable, let us tell you what WE find unacceptable: * Governments lying to their citizens and inducing fear and terror to keep them in control by dismantling their freedom piece by piece. * Corporations aiding and conspiring with said governments while taking advantage at the same time by collecting billions of funds for federal contracts we all know they can’t fulfil. * Lobby conglomerates who only follow their agenda to push the profits higher, while at the same time being deeply involved in governments around the world with the only goal to infiltrate and corrupt them enough so the status quo will never change. These governments and corporations are our enemy. And we will continue to fight them, with all methods we have at our disposal, and that certainly includes breaking into their websites and exposing their lies. We are not scared any more. Your threats to arrest us are meaningless to us as you cannot arrest an idea. Any attempt to do so will make your citizens more angry until they will roar in one gigantic choir. It is our mission to help these people and there is nothing – absolutely nothing – you can possibly to do make us stop. “The Internet has become so important to so many people that we have to ensure that the World Wide Web does not become the Wild Wild West.” Let me ask you, good sir, when was the Internet not the Wild Wild West? Do you really believe you were in control of it at any point? You were not. That does not mean that everyone behaves like an outlaw. You see, most people do not behave like bandits if they have no reason to. We become bandits on the Internet because you have forced our hand. The Anonymous bitchslap rings through your ears like hacktivism movements of the 90s. We’re back – and we’re not going anywhere. Expect us. As far as I'm concerned, he gave up any citizenship rights as soon as he threw his lot in with the terrorist bastards. + a billion on drones and special forces taking the bastards out. I've said from the beginning we also need to put bullets in the heads of any financial supporters of these scumbags as well.

If he's Al Qaeda, American or not, he's a mortal enemy of this country and we were right to kill him. Kill or be killed with these people. moneymakers
If I recall correctly. There was not any due process being carried out at the end of the Bonnie and Clyde movie.
Ditkaless Wonders
I am not comfortable with those we have appointed judges. I find most juries to be questionable, and I am not comfortable with our hired executioners, but at least we know who hired them as we elected those people to office. (To bad many electors could not pass 4th grade math and science and 7th grade civics) Being uncomfortable with the above I am deeply opposed to unappointed, unelected, unaccountable shadow figures setting themselves up as judge, jury, and executioners. WaterMan
imagine what else in our government could be hacked. i bet we spent more money on planes and ships than internet security. heck, i bet congress gets paid more per month than the entire price of their internet security.
