luke davenport
At the half 55 on the ground, 45 in the air and 5 grabs. Gee Mike, think you may use him in the second half, or is he still not quite ready? Redskins Nation should be fuming this guy hasn't been used regularly once Hightower went down. You may be in the playoff hunt if he were.

piratesownninjas
Playoff hunt..... Yeah, because Ryan Torain is the reason they're not in the playoff hunt. Unless Helu could also play QB and on the line he wouldn't effect a playoff run with this team.
luke davenport
Yeah, because Ryan Torain is the reason they're not in the playoff hunt. Unless Helu could also play QB and on the line he wouldn't effect a playoff run with this team. Certainly there are many reasons for their lack of success. But not playing a play-maker makes the entire offense worse. Maybe if defenses had to respect a Helu run or a dump off to him in the flat, instead of Torrain's 2.0 YPA, Grossman has more of chance down field more often. buddahj
Big game on my bench this week. I had no plans on starting him this week anyway. Hopefully, this is a sign of things to come.
DaFreak
I wonder if he is ready for a "full time role" as starting RB now? Shanahan is a enchilada, wonder what he will say that has changed in a weeks time? Other then the threat of him losing his job.
Phat Rugby
If Shanny doesn't start him from here on, it will be confirmed that Shanny is an idiot.

Piles
If Shanny doesn't start him from here on, it will be confirmed that Shanny is an idiot. I think it was confirmed long ago that Shanny is an idiot. I still don't trust him to use Helu as the featured back going forward. I could see Helu having a bad game or puttng the rock on the ground and going in the Shanny's doghouse. It was good to see the kid have another solid game though. I really like what I've seen out of him.
nhoops
Finally dropped him after holding on to him for the Cincy D, who I played over Baltimore. Baltimore took it to SF and I lost by 0.65..... If I'm able to pick him back up, he probably won't perform again. I love Fantasy Football!! And Shanny is an idiot! Mark5
Dropped him last week to pickup Kevin Smith and even though he went off today I feel NO remorse.. I have officially purged my lineups of ALL REDSKINS and sleep much better on Sunday night.. As for Helu being the FEATURE back now----- after this breakout game it just means that Shanny will tell us all Helu is THE GUY all week and come 5 minutes before kick-off he will be 3rd string.. Shanny is the quintessential DUMB-ASS PAST HIS PRIME A-HOLE OF A COACH and I will NEVER draft another player who he coaches.. WHEW, THAT FELT GOOT

detlef
Provided 17 pts plus Ingram is enough to hold off my opponent's B Jacobs, I've clinched a 1st round bye and thus, the next two weeks will be meaningless. Hopefully, that will mean Helu has either officially the man or Shanny has shown his true colors by then and I'll know whether or not he's worth starting by then. BS Miscreant
Granted, I didn't have a whole lot to choose from this week (Helu, Hunter, D. Brown) but I can honestly say I played him expecting RB2 numbers. The last time they played a team with a good run D he was heavily involved and I figured the same for this game. Was counting on 5+ catches for 40 - 60 yds and maybe 50 - 60 on the ground. Obviously, the additional 60 rushing yds and TD are a nice bonus. This is why I traded for him six weeks ago. He'll be a hell of a flex if McFadden ever comes back. Otherwise, I guess I'll just continue to play russian roulette at the RB2 spot. MrTed46
I saw a title to an article "What the Helu" I thought it was pretty funny because I thought the same thing when Helu took my playoff chances and wiped his ass with it
nelsosi
Shanahan has confirmed that Helu is now the starter. Everyone prepare to get burned. Seriously though, anyone who starts him next week does so at their own risk.
