polksalet
It's time once again for my annual super bowl lock. I've picked (as best I remember) 27 of the last 30 super bowls correctly using my formula. According tot he formula I believe the Giants will win by 7. However the other variable that I can't account for is the "Elite QB variable". Last year an elite qb beat my beloved Steelers and defied the formula. Team which runs out of the I most efficiently +1 Giants Team which stops the run out of the I most efficiently +1 Giants, this gives Giants a 2-0 win in the formula. However the Patriots have possibly the greatest qb of all time and the Giants have a spoiled, gutless punk. In conclusion math and three decades of observation says Giants by seven but my guts says Pats by 21.

Czarina
Unfortunately, I think this game is a tossup that will depend on some freakish turn of fate. I can't say which team it breaks for.

BadDawg
I'll go with the Def that is likely to produce more turnovers ...... Giants = better Def = more turnovers = SB win ....... how's that for a formula? .

Czarina
Everyone knows the Pats always get the breaks J They didn't get a break when Tyree made that catch a few years ago, as I recall. You make your own luck. So I guess I hope you're right.
CaP'N GRuNGe
Everyone except Vegas picks the Giants. Which means the Pats will win. Ill stick with Giants too however.

So is your "gut" 27-3 or your "formula" 27-3.....or is it a combo of the two
bostonsoxandy
The under is a safe bet for this game IMO. I think your gut is right. This Pats offense is designed where sending a lot of heat on Brady will backfire on the G-men. I'm expecting a big, scratch that-huge game for Welker. My pick is 24-20 Patriots. They need to win this game; if New England may just explode.

Bonedaddies
I'm always right . I wish someone would explain how that ridiculous formula actually works? Funny, you can pick both teams and still have only three losses, not too bad.

SheikYerbuti
Everyone except Vegas picks the Giants. Just talked to one of the ticket writers from the Caesars sports book. For the 2nd year in a row, the house got CRUSHED on the Super Bowl.
