ImNotSoIgnorant
Anyone, with a viable QB on their bench, thinking about benching Brees?
ShuckCreations
Why would anyone do that? Always start your studs!

XFlash
Brees still good numbers through 3 weeks, but nothing like Ryan, Luck, and Foles. Â I think the SC is remembering Brees of old.

Shorttynaz
Anyone, with a viable QB on their bench, thinking about benching Brees? Â You must be talking about employing the "new" ASYS mentality.. Â Always Start Your Scrubs! Edited September 22, 2014 by Shorttynaz

Chloroform Rx
Start him every game for the rest of the season.
Shorttynaz
Start him every game for the rest of the season. Â So are you saying to employ the always start your STUDS option and start Brees, or are you saying to start my backup and employ the always start your SCRUBS option? I'm confused.. Chloroform Rx
I meant always start your STUBS, the ones marked with a big "O".

dope man
Asking such a question should gain you 2 weeks suspension from the threads pending any video proof of you actually benching Brees....
boltup2106
i'm definitely thinking about sitting him for Eli when brees is playing the cowboys.. definitely
rajncajn
The only QB right now that i would feel comfortable benching Brees for is Manning. That said, the way the Saints have been playing so far, it wouldn't surprise me at all to see his average continue to not live up to his ADP. They're doing a decent job of establishing the run, but teams still refuse to respect it because they know the Saints want to throw first & foremost. And until the Saints start pass-blocking a little better and until the recievers start showing a bit better separation(and quit dropping the ball), they will continue to be less than their standard. rattsass
Brees still has 7 home games, & a couple against the Buccaneers. Even if he is destined to miss his preseason projections - his numbers have some catching up to do - there will be huge games and if you miss those, you have missed recouping on the losses you have incurred so far. If you ask me if Brees will continue to put up underwhelming numbers all season my guess would be a resounding no.
