Scorcher
http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/318934/drew-brees-(shoulder)-ruled-out-for-week-3 I take this as a sign for at least the WR's that it is going to be a long year. It takes a lot for Brees to sit. Edited September 25, 2015 by Scorcher
InTomWeTrust
Seems like its better to me, as cooks owner i would rather mccown with healthy arm then brees with bum arm for long balls
Cowboyz1
Drew may not be back. Rotator cuff doesn't usually just heal. Especially since it was the shoulder that got crunched with San Diego and he's no spring chicken. Ouch......... darin3
I bruised my rotator cuff in February. It still hurts.
Dolphin_Akie
I tore my rotator cuff playing rugby and was out for 2 months, plus the rehab is really tough. Sort of injury where even if he comes back quickly he could easily damage it even more if he takes a big hit.
squirrelmastr21
What is Brees' trade value now? I'm thinking of "lowballing" his owner. More or less value than Carson Palmer? Eli Manning? Ryan Tannehill? Marcus Mariota?

I feel like cooks might actually do something this week now
mitpdub
I've never paid attention to news about a rotator cuff bruise. Only. Rotator cuff tears and the extent of a a tear. I lived through one for a while and had it repaired. Prior to that the arm was getting weaker and weaker. I'm going to wonder if Brees starts throwing ducks when he comes back and if the deep throw to Cooks is removed from the playbook
DanTheMan_5
I'm debating whether this decreases or increases Spillers value this week. Assuming he really is healthy, this could be a big check down week for him, esp in PPR leagues.
rajncajn
NFL Network now saying it's a small tear/sprain. IF he comes back it's going to take some time. Honestly, it may be what's best for this season.
ReturnToSender
I have Spiller's value soaring his week. I hate him a fantasy player as he has ruined my seasons before, but today is the day for Spiller.

gilthorp
I sat Cooks, but from what I'm seeing, that might have been a mistake. McCown 14/15 for 100.
rajncajn
Brees was pretty candid about his status in his Wednesday presser. Said he took most of the reps today and everything felt good. Said they will see how it responds tomorrow and try to ramp up volume and intensity as the week progresses, but that he's very optimistic. His words "I feel really good about Sunday." The couple negatives were that when asked if he could make all the throws he would need to he kinda laughed and shook his head no and said that the mian issue is the awkward throws during games where his arm is not in a natural throwing motion. I'm guessing he's still experiencing some pain there and maybe it's affecting his accuracy, but that's pure speculation on my part. Also said that they will make the decision Friday whether he plays or not just like last week so that the offense has time to prepare. Yeah, they are simply making sure the Cowboys don't focus all their game plan energy on one guy. Brees risks the rest of his career by playing so I doubt that he plays before it has significant time to heal. Especially being 0-3.
