purplemonster Posted December 17, 2021 Share Posted December 17, 2021 I didn't watch this game but this was interesting: LA 4th down attempts 0-0 4th and 5 from KC 5- failed 7-10 4th and 1 from KC 33- convert, later score TD 14-10 4th and 1 from KC 1. Failed 14-13 4th and 2 from KC 28. Failed 14-13 4th and 1 from KC 11. Convert. Later fumble, no points. 28-28. 4th and 15 from LA 39. Punt (only punt of the game) I can understand going for it on the 1. The 5 is a bit more questionable. Going for a 4th and 1 on the 33 is also explainable. The 28 does not make sense. Like after going for it the first time he just couldn't help himself. I know some fans love the younger coaches and their gutsy calls, but in light of how the game finished it doesn't look too smart.
