The story linked below goes into depth on the trade that involved Lance and what other teams got. It includes some big names (MIA = Waddle, Chubb & Hill, PHI = DaVonta Smith, DAL= Micah Parsons, DEN = Sean Payton)

That was an interesting read, thanks!  Basically SF got hosed and the other teams all had positive outcomes.  lol

There was only one team in the entire league willing to give up a 4th...so apparently he doesn't.

Word on the street is Dallas is going to trade a 3rd for Drew Sample

I hear ya, but giving up a 4th for Lance is not a bad deal. It provides a great opportunity to see what they can get with a lesser cost. I liked the trade and thought other teams should've made it.

i know you (and many) want to slap them on the wrist for that trade, but they made up for it with other trades and compensation.... and have succeeded with other low draft picks (including their starting qb)

plus they just got themselves another 1.3 pick as their #2, who is fairly developed

It is ironic that the 49ers paired one of the worst drafting decisions in recent memory with one of the best drafting decisions at essentially the same time. It's early for Purdy but to get a starting quarterback out of the last pick in the draft as a rookie is pretty impressive
