stevegrab Posted October 26, 2023 Author Share Posted October 26, 2023 More and more talk by the people that cover the Browns saying this deal is becoming a bust and while the team has a great defense and some talent on offense (even without Chubb) they should consider finding another QB to start before the trade deadline. Many are suggesting targeting last year's part time starter Jacoby Brissett currently backup with WAS. Who knows if he will ever heal properly and be able to play without pain. Let alone return to the "elite QB" they thought they were trading for. I wouldn't blame start players like Garrett for wanting to get out of this horribly run franchise. But he showed so much promise for a half, and they burned so much draft capital and gave him a massive fully guarantied contract. So of course they have to stick with him. (the really bad word)!
