WaterMan
http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?s=&a...t&p=2044071 Is that the same as "believeieable" or "troof"? I've heard reports from Oakland's former OC that they would routinely take Moss out of Friday practice because the rest of the team wanted it to run at game-day speed. I'll believe that Randy's running a 4.3 40-yd when I see it. Brady and Moss a Patriot combination to fear By Simon Evans MIAMI (Reuters) - The New England Patriots extended their winning start to seven games on Sunday and the combination of classy quarterback Tom Brady and agile wide-receiver Randy Moss could take them much, much further. Brady threw six touchdowns with Moss and fellow wide-receiver Wes Welker receiving two each as the Patriots crushed the winless Miami Dolphins 49-28 on Sunday. The Patriots, who have their eyes on the season-long unbeaten record of the 1972 Miami side, wrapped up the game by the half-time interval after advancing to a 42-7 lead at Dolphin stadium. Brady, who was 21 for 25 throwing 354 yards, combined with Moss to great effect twice in the second quarter. Moss acrobatically collected a 35-yard throw from Brady and then leapt superbly in the end-zone for a magnificent collection of a 50-yard pass. The Dolphins added a degree of respectability to the scoreline in the second half with touchdowns from Patrick Cobbs, Jason Taylor and Jesse Chatman but there was never any danger of Miami getting close to stopping a seventh straight reverse and a second touchdown from Welker, on a 16-yard Brady pass confirmed that. Brady, playing with swaggering confidence, had never thrown six touchdowns in a game before and he now has 27 this season from his seven outings. The quarterback's immaculate display was no surprise but what will have struck fear into future opponents - the Patriots face the Washington Redskins next week before taking on defending champions the Indianapolis Colts in the most anticipated game of the regular season - was the partnership with Moss. SOMETHING ELSE After making the Pro Bowl five times in his seven seasons with the Minnesota Vikings, Moss's career nosedived during his two poor seasons with the Oakland Raiders but he now looks rejuvenated and back to his best with ten touchdowns this season to prove it. "With him it seems like there is always somewhere to throw," said Brady, "He is something else, something else to make those plays, Randy's two touchdown passes were just awesome," he added. "Two guys are on him and he's jumping up and one time it looked like he caught it with one hand. We talked this week about giving him a chance and I think we gave him a chance," said Brady. Brady's statistics were remarkable but the manner in which he directed his team - looking supremely confident and composed throughout - was even more impressive although he chose to be modest about his performance. "It makes my job easy when those guys are making those plays. It is easy as a quarterback if you've got guys open and every time you throw it, they catch it. It's not like they are making any mistakes and I think they are probably more in a zone than I am," he said. The Patriots quarterback was cautious though about the praise that is being heaped on his and coach Bill Belichick's team. "There is a long way to go, this is the seventh game of the year and our goals are certainly bigger than winning seven games this year. We've just got to keep making improvements because things certainly weren't perfect out there," he said. Maybe not perfect but certainly far too good for the woeful Dolphins whose experienced linebacker Zach Thomas chose humor as his response to the defeat. "They've got a great team, I'll give them that. They made us look bad -- and we are just not very good right now," he said. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=AvoT...s&type=lgns

msaint
The unsung heroes here: Light, Mankins, Neal, Kaczur, Koppen, Hochstein, O'Callaghan..... Seems like every time he drops back, Brady has for-friggin-EVER to pick apart a defense. That O-Line has been flat-out amazing.

Bill Swerski
Pah-lese. No way that Brady gets Moss the ball 143 times this year, so I'd have to agree.
