Guest Sores
The early word is that Ferguson suffered a severely sprained ankle and Green aggravated his quad injury. I'm guessing they'll both be out for awhile. Quoted from Cliff Christl....very reliable source.
alexgaddis
The Pack has definately been hit the worst of anyone this year as far as injuries are concerned... ...good thing I picked up Fisher last week....

Gunther
I missed part of the post game with Sherman, but I caught that he said Ferguson suffered a "severe" sprain. Green reaggravated his injury, I can't remember what he said it was, sorry.

Chavez
NFL.com is not particularly enlightening Green was injured in the fourth quarter when he took a handoff off right tackle and was mauled by linebacker E.J. Henderson. He immediately grabbed his knee in pain and had to be lifted onto the cart to be taken to the locker room for X-rays. Green has battled leg injuries all season and missed the Packers' victory over New Orleans because of a thigh injury. Ferguson left the game in the second quarter after a 44-yard reception. He beat safety Corey Chavous on a post pattern, but as he came down with the ball, he planted his left leg awkwardly and crumpled to the turf. He lay on the field for several minutes and had to be helped off by Packers trainers. Ferguson was carted to the locker room moments later and didn't return. Primetime9287
From what I saw, Green is done for the season. He planted, his leg gave completely out and he was on the field in pain. If I had to put money on it, this season is over for Green Edited October 24, 2005 by Primetime9287
Spewak
From RotoWorld.com Ahman Green's quadriceps tendon injury could keep him out for the rest of the season. The Green Bay Press-Gazette seemed to believe Green is done, already talking about Tony Fisher as a possible starter for the next ten games. It would be a cruel end to Green's miserable season, and quite possibly his career in Green Bay. He's a free agent after the season. Oct. 23 - 11:34 pm et Source: Green Bay Press-Gazette From Gazette: They lost Green, their franchise halfback, to a quadriceps-tendon injury that could be season ending, and watched Ferguson carted to the locker room because of knee and ankle injuries of unknown severity. So now, No. 3 halfback Tony Fisher could end up being a starter for the final 10 games of the season, same for No. 4 receiver Antonio Chatman. PaulOttCarruth
Don't be surprised if the Packers bring in Dorsey Levens this week at RB. Not sure who's available on the WR front.
Hugh 0ne
Woulda been a W with those two in the game. 1092766[/snapback] But they weren't. And it wasn't. Vikes have been pretty banged up too. Burleson missed time, Pro-Bowler Birk gone for the year, Culpepper's inflamed sack. Let's not get into shoulda, coulda, woulda here.

soopanuts
Man, after avoiding most of the major injuries the first several weeks, I've gotten hit hard the last two weeks. Bulger, Holt, Brown and Ferguson...so far. This injury bug seems to be spreading like crazy.

I'm sure you guys think the Vikes would be 5-1 with Darren Sharper playing....oh, wait, he IS. Never mind.
