Kwatz
Vandy has tough matchup with Jags....
SaintsFanUnfortunately
I wouldn't start Rackers this week. He could tweak his left calf and his matchup against the Skins isn't the best. I would watch him one week and play him next week.
Gdawg
I thought Rackers was still listed as questionable, was he just upgraded again?
baddfish2
I think I'd still start Vandy. Rackers could aggravate the injury, and I've read he might only get extra points and short field goals, they may carry Novak for longer attempts. reddogs2020
I'm starting Rackers. It's his plant leg, not kicking leg. One or two step approach works...look at J.Elam the past month or so. May not kick any 55 yarders, but he should kick all the rest (and there should be a few even against the Skins).

He will not handle kickoffs, obviously. The length of FG tries he'll attempt will depend on the pregame warmups. I think he's a risky start. Why not start Vanderjagt? He should have some FG opportunities, as the Jags have the defense to give the Colts maybe a LITTLE trouble on Sunday.

But Rackers will start for me.
tonorator
the only thing you really care about with kickers is that they are healthy and playing. with that in question for rackers, even remotely, you stay away.
splotchman
Rackers was THE MAN this year for me. Love the guy, as he helped me when more than a couple games. That said, if this is a playoff game for you, NO WAY I would risk playing Rackers this week. Agree with Darin that the Jags D could stop the cold in the red zone, so Vandy should be more than solid and is a much safer play. I just can't see a scenario that the upside Rackers offers would outweight the risk he brings.
Donutrun Jellies
I've kept Rackers -- but am starting Peterson. Rackers has earned the rest, I'll win the championship in a couple weeks with him in the line up ...

Gdawg
Yeah, Rackers has been HUGH for me too...but this week I'm going with Kaeding again. We'll see how Neil does, maybe he gets the nod next week
