Puddy
I've been listening to 80's hits all night on Launchcast. I heard "I Ran" - Flock of Seagulls, "Modern Love" - David Bowie, "Pride" - U2, "In Your Eyes" - Peter Gabriel, "Shout" - Tears for Fears, no Bananarama yet though

dukdown
Actually Bananarama started off really cool, they were the discoveries of one of the most dynamic bands of the English ska/reggae scene of the early-mid 80's by the name of Fun Boy Three (a collaboration of dubheads from the Specials and Selector). How they went on to be the English Bangles is a mystery to me, but Madonna basically totally ripped them off, fashion wise. Definitely check out Fun Boy Three if you are into psychedelic pub dub. Ursa Majoris
What does this mean? 1266394 It means what it says. FunBoy Three were an offshoot of the Specials, a seven piece black/white ska group from England. One of FB3's best was "The Lunatics Have Taken Over The Asylum". Hey Loaf - there's one you should check out for your ska / reggae CD.

Ursa Majoris
they're not on itunes 1266499 Not surprised. I-Tunes isn't catering very well for "the tail" - the more obscure stuff.
